That's proabably our only hope. Once the British fans and press get sick of Haye's level of opposition that may finally force his hands.

But I am not holding my breath. All I read in the British tabloids about Haye is highly supportive such as "Heavyweight King David Haye" or "The Klitschkos have nowhere else to run" or "He took the heavyweight boxing world by storm, everywhere he goes in the world people applaud and cheer for him".

They have their national hero and keep living in a dream world. They don't care (or ignore) that Haye is being either largely ignored or to an extent even despised outside of the UK.

I have already mentioned it in other threads: Chambers, Povetkin, Adamek or Chagaev, fight any of them, and beat him decisively (not like he did to Valuev, the only top 10 HW he has faced so far). Then he would prove he's anywhere near the Klitschkos, right now Haye is nothing more than a paper champion, like Valuev was before him.

    Haye is no Champion.

Wlad beats Chageav, the real WBA Champion. If Haye wants to be Champ he should step into the ring with The Champion!

But Haye knows he will lost this fight.

Bit ****ish if he is like that as he always came across as a down to earth kinda guy, perhaps he was not always like that as many fighters seem to get bigger than their boots when they start to get too much adulation.

I know a kid who went to a Boxing academy in Durham, he met Amir Khan, before the Prescott fight, and he said he was very arrogant.

Since when do brits have a stereotypical way of typing? Single handedly the most asinine post I've seen in quite some time.

I think its pretty obvious that the op is a Klit nuthugger using an alt account pretending to be a Brit.

That's the problem, people don't understand how boxing works anymore... As long as boxers can fight for one of the dozen or more alphbet straps, and call themselves 'World Champion' this sh*t will go on. According to a Dutch newspaper Holyfield regained the world heavyweight championship a few weeks back in the WBF bout with Botha :patsch

The media hype him up as if he is the only heavyweight champion though.

More than a kick in the face than all the HW boxers who aren't even committed enough to get into decent shape for a fight. I think being a fat slob is more disrespectful to the sport of boxing.

So Haye has talked some sh*t ? Big deal

He has had 3 fights at HW, people are whinging over and over just cause he talks sh*t and hasnt fought either Klit YET

Hayes career so far deserves far more praise than the likes say Chris Arreola, and that cant be disputed, in terms of both acheivement and the work they put into being a professional boxer.

Yea but Arreola didn't tell us how he's "doing this for Louis, Ali and Dempsey" or how he is "passionate about unifying the HW division in record time" now did he? Unlike Haye Arreola never lied into our face, deluding us while have nothing but his personal financial goals in mind.

This is not mere **** talking, it's worse. It's a blatant scam. And Wlad's call out pulled the mask of the wanna-be messiah off of Haye's face. He's a con artist. But he's exposed for now, unless a miracle happens and Haye finally responds to Wlad's challenge.

The results of the Haye-Klit negotiations should be announced by the end of the week. Why don't we wait until then to pass judgment on Haye.

    FANager? Jesus

I presume he ran in the first round because it was the first round of a fight and he was feeling his way into the fight like 99% of fighters do during fights. He was also fighting a guy who was 7 foot tall. What did you expect him to do in the first round?

Prove he didn't hurt his hand.
