Yeah but looking at that list in an all-time sense, Pac is ranked the highest and has the best resume. True or not?

Mayweather almost getting doubled over by a right hand from a guy who isn't as quick, mobile, active, or as good as himself?

Plus, having seen the sub-par southpaw Judah lay many a glove on Floyd's big pretty face, I'm sure that hasn't got poor little Manny (who's faced and beaten tougher challenges than Floyd has managed too do) quaking in his boots.

In fact, as things stand, Manny has dominated, destroyed two common opponents. ...Poor little Manny. Yawn!

mayweather was standing right in front of shane in a shell like margarito and everyone else shane looks good against and eventually ko's.....

that was mayweathers mistake not shane doing something spectacular.....get it right

true but the list is relative because pacs list and greatest wins came at smaller weights than shane and de la hoyas...

Its gonna be just like the marquez fight in which floyd will be fighting one of the greatest lightweights (in this case super featherweight) ever....I refuse to call him a great welter...

yeah after mayweather broke their spirits...roach told oscar we only have a fight if u can make 147 knowing that oscar couldnt make 147 and be affective...and de la hoya was nearly stopped by steve forbes in his own weight class

and hatton cried for months after getting ko'd by floyd!!

those are two mentally shot fighters post mayweather....

    I got the opposite impression.
I have always thought may would win a UD vs pac, but I think Pac might stop him.

If May can survive the output of Pacquiao, I would be surprised.

You're obviously not a neutral like I am so I'm taking every comment of yours with a pinch of salt.

Manny has been beating ten bells of **** out of everyone he's been fighting, if you think he's even remotely troubled by the idea of fighting Floyd then you are delusional. Manny is a throwback, and he currently stands alone.

Yeah it's not like Hatton had just shutout, embarrassed Paulie Malignaggi before being poleaxed by Pacquiao.

...Oh wait. It's comical that Floyd fans are even going as far to credit Floyd for Manny's victories. :yep

what im saying is who cares who pac beat after floyd....the build up that these fighters get before fighting floyd has to be emotionally draining when they fail horrendously...

thats all im saying...pac beat the **** out of cotto, odlh, and hatton....what im saying is cotto coming off of a ko to brick fist and struggling in two fights that he should have won easily....odlh coming off of roach training him and knowing his laziness, bad habits, and that he couldnt make a weight he hasnt fought at in years, and hatton being a lazy fat ass and crying for months after getting koed by mayweather as well as constantly believing his own hype going into these big fights (yes he beat the **** outta paulie, but in his comeback fight against lazcano he was damn near koed and definitely got beat the **** up)...

all have to be considered when talking about pacs record at welter....thats all im saying..

I just think pac is getting tooooo much credit at welter for fighting people who cant be at their best at this point in their career for obvious reasons not the speculative reasons u give for mayweather fighting people that are so called past prime or too small...

These guys were literally getting their asses whooped in fights leading up to pac destroying them... Pac is a great fighter and thats why he did so well against these fighters...imo

Oscar De La Hoya prior to fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr was 2-2 and had fought 4 times in 3 years. He suffered his first stoppage loss two fights before. Who cares if Floyd moved up to Oscar's weight, Manny did the same for Hatton, Clottey, and Hoya.

Ricky Hatton fought Floyd Mayweather at 147lbs, and his only fight before this that was fought at Welterweight was against Collazo, a fight in which he came painfully close to losing by stoppage. Many people, including myself, a fellow Brit, had Hatton losing the fight narrowly on the cards.

Shane Mosley was 38 years of age and hadn't fought for well over a year prior to fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr. He was also beaten a few years earlier by Miguel Cotto, a man who was dominated, destroyed by Manny Pacquiao.

    Who else?

Difference is cotto didn't destroy mosley. It was a close fight.

However Margarito destroyed cotto and he has never been the same again.
