Cotto was iffy after margo ... shane was considered p4p #3 .. cotto got a gift against clottey .. and when people said "cotto beats pac" they pointed to size not skill .. mosley was supposed to be just as experienced as mayweather plus have the size advantage they gave cotto .. so please don't bring that cotto was a better win

Now cotto's win over mosley and mayweathers win over mosley is a debatable topic but that's a different thread

    That was not a gift.

Cotto won with his knock down.

 Floyd Mayweather fans are actually talking as if Manny Pacquiao doesn't even deserve to share the ring with Money.

You like to point out that the HBO team had castillo winner the 1st fight, well the HBO team also had clottey winning the cotto fight.

Honestly, after seeing the posts in this thread, Floyd could fight Matthew Hatton and his followers would be satisfied.

Yes I did, when Mosley was sceduled to fight Berto, I stated that Berto had a legit chance because Mosley is old and it just wasn't the Mayweather fight where he looked bad, Estrada, Cruz, Vargas 1, Cotto and Mayorga are all fights that showed he was on the decline. Now not anybody can just beat even this version of Mosley down like Mayweather did, BUT this is NOT the super duper Mosley from 2000, that had rediculous speed and threw punches in bunches with great speed and power.

lol Cotto was a better win. He was a much more live fighter, and he was only 28 years old (younger then Manny) and still near his prime.

Mosley was old against Floyd and looked shot at times. A young Mosley would have KO'd Floyd within 5. But I'm tired of rehashing the subject.

The fact is after every great performance, people will hype a fighter up. They did the same thing after Manny's dominations of Cotto, Hoya, Hatton and Clottey.

The Mosley fight definitely answered some questions about Floyd but my prediction remains the same which is a Pacquiao wide UD or TKO. I don't think Floyd can handle everything that Pacquiao brings - the southpaw style, footwork, angles, workrate, speed, intangibles.

Pacquiao is like a human whirlwind and as great as Floyd's defense is, he can't subdue Pacquiao and he doesn't produce enough offense to win the fight.
