Zab would have been shutout if he was 38 years old and had been inactive for 14 months too. Keep it real, your comment was absurd.

The striaght left would most likely be his main weapon but the weapon of choice won't come from just one punch if he's to be successful against Floyd. It will come from combinations, from all angles at spuratic times.

You're right about Manny not putting a lot on his left at the moment b/c like Floyd...Manny can lead off wit his left like a jab because he's so quick and many time Manny sets up the flurries of combinations with the jab or lead left in his case. With that said Manny punches always do damage on the pure fact that his speed generates some power.

Now what happens after the fight if Pacquiao only wins 2 or 3 rounds? Are you going to tell me before the Mayweather/Mosley fight that you figured Mosley would only win 1 or 2 rounds? You knew he was 38 and inactive before the fight, did you figure it would be that one sided?

I didn't think it would be that one sided, but I didn't think Oscar would be as one sided as it was either when he fought Pacquiao. Shane was breathing heavily very early on, and he threw very few punches after the first two rounds. Clearly depleted as a fighter, much like De La Hoya was...not to the same extent, but past his prime all the same.

If Pacquiao wins only two rounds Floyd's stock goes up immensely, not enough for him to overtake Manny in the ATG rankings, but he'd get his props.

I agree 100%....Manny would be a far greater challenge to floyd than Zab was for similar reasons regarding his southie stance, speed and explosiveness....but he also brings things that Zab has shown he lacks....heart, will, determination and stamina issues.

You will be in the small minority of people that feel this way. Oh yeah, go watch Mosley's fight against Cotto again, you'll notice him breathing heavily in his corner in round 3.

I actually did say the fight would be one sided....I also indicated that Shane would have his moments and hurt Floyd...which he did. With all that said I thought Shane would be more active and pull the trigger more to create chances of pulling off the upset but credit to FLoyd......I think he took Shane out mentally before the fight happened. I've NEVER see shane so jittery and unsure of himself since the rematch to vernon. I actually picked Zab to beat Floyd :nut I honestly thought the speed of Zab would at some point catch him and with Zab being a great finisher I figured I'd go with the underdog.:patsch

I don't think May/Pac has any chance to go the full 12. I think it's competitive while it lasts and ends around 8 or 9 with Mayweather up a point or two on the cards.

These two guys legitimately hate each other and Mayweather's game plan won't be to pot shot his way to a decision. You can't have that game plan with Manny. It will be similar to plan for Sugar Shane, middle of the ring and box.

There's a world outside of ESB. Not many who follow boxing anywhere would still have Pac ahead of Mayweather in any rankings if Mayweather laid a onesided beating on him.

90% of boxing fans are completely ******ed.

ESB actually has some intelligent fans on it, once you weed out the 1 fighter fans.

Manny shouldn't even be competitive with these guys at Welterweight. He started his professional career as a Flyweight, everything from now and till the end is a bonus, his status is fully secure. Unbelievable accomplishments...as I said earlier, he stands alone in terms of resume and accomplishments.
