i dont care about lineal bull****, fact is Zab is the LAST UNDISPUTED CHAMP in any weight class, Baldomir beat him. At that time Margarito just won a vacant title, so why would Floyd fight Margarito? Because Arum went on a media blitz claiming how Mayweather was afraid of Margarito? He didnt earn a shot at Floyd......

What about when Manny got beat by Morales, and Morales got beat by Raheem? WHy didnt Manny ever fight Raheem & instead he chose to fight Morales again FOR NO BELTS MIGHT I ADD......lets try to be objective here bro

I agree, but fact is, he was the undisputed Champ and he lost, so Floyd fought the guy who EVERYONE called the #1 WW at the time because he just beat ther #1 WW at the time.....i dont make this stuff up...these are all facts

 

He did indeed, he felt the need to redeem himself. He did that not only by fighting and beating Erik Morales, but by then moving up through 135lbs, 140lbs and 147lbs beating some of the best fighters in the world.

I'm being objective, but it's hard to be when I hear a Mayweather supporter trying to criticize Manny's resume. It's absurd.

On the grand scheme of things, beating Baldomir forwards your legacy about as much as beating David Diaz would. :good

Let's not get away from the point, we know Baldomir had some belts, but he was a C level fighter. The fight was a non-event, a landslide, and Carlos soon slipped back into obscurity.

Now you want to tell me, "Mayweather broke him down mentally and physically, he was never the same""

 

LMAO@ "But by then"....he fought Morales in Jan 06, and didnt move to 135 till June of 08
after he beat Morales he stayed @ 130 for 5 more fights over a span of 2 years...

who cares about the Baldomir fight, ...Baldomir was the #1 ranked WW in the world....please listen to the HBO crew b4 the fight who all said Baldomir would be too big and strong for Floyd, dude came in @ 160...fkoyd was 147lbs...lets be real here......
