Kelly Pavlik to consider light-heavyweight + things to think about

But being in the top 10 at 175 isn't that big of a deal. If he got beaten by Dawson or Pascal or Cloud (he could beat Cloud, maybe), he'd be out of the money. Dawson himself is riding the Pascal fight and probably will have to move down to stay in the money, so even a top five spot at 175 doesn't command that much respect.

Pavlik isn't the guy to add value to the division, but I think we mostly agree.

 

Umm dude, even though showtime didn't invite Pavlik, Pavlik already says that if he was invited he would turn it down cause the six fighters in the tournament is fighting for peanuts.

Which of the top 168 pound fighters can Pavlik beat? Honestly.

 

pavlik said he would never fight in the tournament due to the money that he would be earning. he said they'll ruin their careers for peanuts. he was never invited, but he made his opinion of it all very clear.

i don't think it's a great amount. none of them were huge earners anyway, and pavlik got too big for his boots. pavlik has lost to martinez now, so his earning stock will go down. i think he's ****ed either way. he either stays at 160 and drains himself too much, or he goes to 168 to get beat up by the elite up there. future doesn't look too bright for him.

 

we already saw what happened at light heavyweight when he fought an old hopkins. hopkins ****ed him up, and dawson would do the same.

 

could he beat? he could all the top fighters except bute, ward and dirrell. what he had shown lately isnt enough to beat them. but from what i've seen of the others and then working your way down the line to bika, andrade, steiglitz, green...i think he could do alright up there unless he gets thrown in there w/ bute right away.

ummm dude big difference than refusing...he was never asked..and if he would of been asked i think he would of taken it.

 

again all the hate for pavlik..i have asked before and i will again, why do u hate pavlik so much...u are always neg towards him, i know alot of people are but u look for ways to be negative against him.
