ward and dirrell always would of done well in this tournament when looking at the styles of the other four boxers. ward probably would win with dirrell as second. that was my pick from the start, and i see no reasons so far to change it.

This post is an amazingly clear demonstration of your fundamental lack of knowledge. It seems like you should have learned a bit more in the 3 weeks you've been a boxing fan.

Pavlik would definately lose to every super 6 fighter, I have called him overrated since the Taylor fights, people called me crazy when I said Bernard Hopkins was going to embaress him, and I will say it again, the super 6 fighters will embaress him big time.

No, they are not overrated. They are five of the best six SMWs we know of, and the one excluded doesn't have a win that's as good as every guy in the tournament now has except for Green and Abraham.

Kessler was a tremendous champion at 168 and gave Calzaghe fits. That was one of the best fights of the past five years, IMO. His resume easily outshines that of Bute or Pavlik.

Froch had a win over Pascal, a better win than any by Bute or Pavlik.

Ward beating tournament favorite Kessler handily gives him a better win than Bute or Pavlik.

Dirrell fought Froch evenly and beat Abraham, so his resume now exceeds that of Bute or Pavlik.

Abraham knocked out Taylor, which is better than anything than Bute has done. His resume is similar to Pavlik's, the difference being that a DQ loss to Dirrell (though shameful) is not as bad as getting embarrassed by old man Hopkins and beaten up by Martinez.

Abraham is fighting at a higher level than Pavlik these days, but that one at least is arguable.

Bute? What has he done? How can you attack the guys in the tournament and celebrate his accomplishments? He's known for three wins against crude sluggers (in that sense, he and Kelly rose to prominence similarly), and he nearly got knocked out in one of those fights.

Pavlik never struggled against guys like Andrade, unlike Bute. Prime Taylor was easily better than any version of Andrade or Miranda.

Make no mistake: Bute would probably beat the brakes off Pavlik at 168, but in terms of resume, his gets **** on by the guys in the tournament.

pavlik's comments of saying he wouldn't join the tournament made me think they offered him a place, but maybe they was put off by his negativity towards the tournament. he obviously wouldn't of joined, and he made that clear.

you talk about my lavk of knowledge. who doid you pick pavlik or martinez? i picked martinez, and made a ton of money, you know why? because i know my boxing, and i know pavlik's overrated.

Having other people agree with you who are also wrong does not help much. Of course hindsight is 2020. I was not the only person to pick Ward to win the tourney before it started but I had less company than I do now.

Ward will continue to win as long as Jack Reiss is the ref. With a competent ref nine head butts gets him disqualified.

Very biased and inaccurate comment. Ward was eating him alive and they could fight is Kessler's backyard pool with Kessler's mom officiating and the result will be the same.

    I disagree

The referee was based but Kessler looked out of shape too

No it is not, it is one of the best divisions in boxing, ANY division in boxing and there respectful fighters can be broken down like TS did in his opening post.
