    umm..pac had his best shot to break floyds record...he had that in dec 2008 with oscar...HE ONLY DID HALF AS MANY BUYS WITH THE MAIN DRAW OF THE SPORT AT THE TIME

    For the record, I'd ike to see this fight happen. One of two things happens; either Pac is too fast for Margo and runs wild on him like he did with De La Hoya. Ooooor, Pac is too fast for Margo early and then Tony begins to chop him down late like he did with Miguel Cotto.

    Watching Clottey walk Pacquiao down in spots makes me think Margo has a decent shot in this fight.

    It seems like the ones who doesn't want to see this fight happen are the ones who think Pacquiao should succumb to Floyd's drug testing demands. Guess what. It doesn't go that way.

    It's obvious that this will happen since Margarito is from Top Rank. Business wise this makes a lot of sense. Why would TR submit themselves to Mayweather and GBP demands when they can make the same, probably greater ppv buys than what FLoyd and Mosley was able to make?

    As much as I want Pac fight Floyd, this is second option. If Floyd would drop or even agree to Pacquiao's counter offer with the drug testing, then that fight ( Pac vs PBF ) will definitely happen but I see a far greater issue with that fight since PBF most likely will demand a bigger purse rather than with equal shares, then the fight will most definitely not happen. Again, boxing is business and nobody is better than Arum and Mayweather when it comes to making money.

    Being exposed to the lamest fight of the decade even though it was marketed as starring the most "exciting" fighter doesn't help boxing.

    A lot of people keep saying that Pac/Margo would outdue May/Mosley, but I don't think that's necessarily the case. If they do fight, it will be in Mexico (unless a State gives Margo a license, which doesn't seem to be the case). Not sure how much they will be able to charge there, plus not sure how many Americans will travel there to see the fight. Plus, a lot of people won't buy the PPV just because they don't want to support Margarito.

    These need to be taken into consideration. I think the fight would make good money, but because of those things, no way it does more that PBF/Mosley.

    If pac fights marg, i'm boycotting the fight.

    I know how you guys feel about this but just think of it in a different view. It seems like GBP and TR has agreed to something behind closed doors. This fight probably will happen and the Pac vs Marg would definitely make Pac vs PBF huge.

    It'll be a bunch of mexicans arguing with a bunch of philippino people.

    It's a ******ed fight.

    Margarito doesn't deserve 10$ let alone the million or 2 he would make.

    And if Manny is willing to fight anyone but floyd at this point, then **** him.
