No, he won't. That's why I will be betting on a Pac KO if they fight.

I have talked of boxing, since you are blind you can not see what I speak of......and you don't like what I say about what I see.... your blindness keeps you from seeing it.

Cute? No that was called "good boxing". Getting hit and hurt is part of the game. Knowing what to do to make it out is also part of the game. FMJ handled the situation perfectly.:deal

Ok, bald_head_slick, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and ASSUME you aren't a knee jerk Mayweather fan. The original poster just simply asked if Mayweather would've been able to handle the punch. Now, there were other Mayweather fans in a FALSE BRAVADO who claim that Mayweather would never get hit like that. Utter rubbish... Mayweather can be hit and HURT. Which is why in my sarcastic way, I commented how CUTE it was that the Pretty One was all over Mosely's arm. :deal:hi::smoke

    simple answer....

No he wouldnt survive a shot like that.

Not many fighters through history would survive a shot like that.

BUT... Would he get hit with a shot like that?

No..... I really dont think he would

Hatton was asking for trouble against Pac

Floyd would make sure he never got in a position to be hit like that

Utter rubbish? When has he? Literally you can count how many times FMJ has been staggered on one hand not using your thumbs. So it isn't "false bravado" to say he wouldn't get hit like that. It actually stands up to data analysis. (The same can be said about Pac being downed by a body shot if that video was played.)

Any fighter can be hit an hurt. This is boxing. This thread was ignorant to begin with.

Floyd would be chicken dancing getting up from that shot about 2 minutes later. His chin is good but it is not great.

With that being said I give Manny's probally of landing THAT good of a shot over 12 rounds with Floyd at about 5%.

Floyd got caught by 2 right hooks he didn't see coming from Judah and Mosley. He's going to have a hell of a time avoiding Manila Ice from Pac. Same goes for Pac trying to avoid Floyd's jab and right hand. Floyd's great at not letting emotions or any nonsense interrupt the way he fights so I do give him that and that might be his key to victory against Pacman. If he goes toe to toe with Pac Pac might be the bigger puncher, but Floyd likes to break down fighters, not so much knock them out with one or two punches.

I think Floyd survived a bomb from Mosley, even a past his prime Mosley, he might survive that Pacquiao bomb. Like the saying goes a boxer's punching power is about the last thing that they might lose with age. Still, I think Pacquiao's style will be more problematic than his power alone. He throws punches in bunches and has a great chin himself.

Pacquiao's left hand will find it's mark. Regularly. His footwork, handspeed, and aggressiveness will make it nearly impossible for him not to find the mark.

Can you prove that or just guessing? Not saying its not because it was a great punch but there not in the same spot so it might appear as if one was harder by where it landed. I think a better question is if Mosley would've landed that on Mayweathers button would he have stayed up
