Vitali is closing in on 40 years. Apprarently he doesn't have time to wait around for months and months. He obviously wants to make as many fights as possible before retiring and he appears to be willing to get the ring with ANYBODY who is willing.

I wish we could say the same of the rest of the HW division. It appears to be full of pretenders (instead of contenders) who always find reasons on why they can not fight Vitali. "OH SORRY I GOT NO TIME" "OH SORRY PLEASE OFFER ME 4 MILLION DOLLARS THEN I'LL THINK ABOUT IT" etc. etc.

The old James "Lights Out" Toney at MW and SMW was an ATG, the current 41 yo Heavyweight James "Light food's Out" Toney is a disgrace! In the last 5 years time he was caught twice for dope use in his fights, is clearly overweight and this is his list.

    NC Ruiz
    UD Quinn
    D Rahman
    L Peter
    L Peter
    SD Bachelder
    NC Rahman
    SD Oquendo
    KO Greer

In wich strange universe is this guy a decent contender (4-2-1-2, 1KO)? :huh

The only thing that is a disgrace here is Toney still fighting. Maybe I have to remind you that it's 2010, not 1990. His run as a HW "contender" is a laughable. If it weren't for his mouth he'd be out of the picture for ages. Sure, prime for prime Sosnowski is much worse that Toney was, but we are talking about today. The fact is that Sosnowski at 31 is in his prime now, an experienced pro with 48 fights over 12 years while Toney hasn't done a noteworthy thing INSIDE the ring for who nows how long.

Better than fighting no names and losing to Zuri Lawrence

The whole point is Toney fought a few 'names' and lost, drawn or cheat against them and edged a few top 50 guys. He's old, he's fat, he's clearly far and far over the hill, would be banned for life in any other sport for testing positive twice, and has no chance in h*ll to even lay a glove on Vitali.
The only thing he has going for him is having a chance to make it to the final bell purely because of his chin. Sosnowski isn't the opponent I like to see in the ring with Vitali either, his chances are very slim at best and I don't see him make it to the 8th round. But at least he's in his prime, won a few good fights recently and of course does he have that Zuri Lawrence stain on his record, but it's someting that happens to a lot of fighters.

At least Mcline was not almost KTFO by Lawrence, and no boxrec won't help you on this. Even is you try to say that this polish plumber is as good as Mcline, its not looking very well. We all already know what this fight will look like, Polish plumber fighting with all his heart for two or three rounds, fighting with all his fear for the rest of the fight until Vitali relief him with a KO.

Vitali by far has been the most active Heavyweight titlist recently nobody wants to fight the guy this is a stay busy fight. I expect 2 maybe 3 more fights from Vitali after this then he will call it a day.

Why would you fight Klitschko whilst just emerging onto the heavyweight scene? Adamek just recently tried to get a fight with Wladmir I hear, but Emanuel says he's out of the picture for now so they can unify the belts.

Adding the KO over Holy, this is actually a pretty decent resume. He beat Ruiz and made Rahman quit.

The Polish fighter has never even been in the ring with such opponents. Anyway, this is not even about Toney, SOnsekpk is not a credible opponent for Vitali.

Oquendo would outpoint this bum, enough said. Nobody wants to see this fight, this is just disgarceful.Vitali will win by quick KO.
