Does Pacman have a chance at beating Mayweather? If so, what are his advantages over Mayweather or vice versa...

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    GG ;)

Pac would need to either catch Mayweather with a Hatton-type bomb and then put him away or would need Mayweather to be off his game and outwork him for a UD.

I'd put his chances at 25% or so.

    Yes, he does.

Pacquiao is one of the greatest fighters ever and the best of the generation. He has a good chance against any realistic opponent. Aside from that, he's a southpaw who throws unorthodox punches and plenty of them. Mayweather has struggled with southpaws, unorthodox fighters and combination punchers, which Pacquiao has in abundance.

Physically, Pacquiao has faster hands and hits very hard. His footwork will bother Mayweather, who is often stationary at 147lbs.

He has a puncher's chance at best. PBF is a stylistic nightmare for Pac and will be the favorite going into the fight. PBF will box circles and around Pac and win by wide UD or late round TKO bet on it.

Pac may be faster than Mayweather but Mayweather is more precise with a higher boxing IQ and better ring generalship.

Interesting. It seems that if anyone has a chance its Pacquiao.. He's more agressive than Mayweather it seems. I could see this as both an advantage and a disadvantage...

    Of course he does.

But I don't think that will happen.

The interesting thing is, both guys have weaknesses that are the others' strength so it's intriguing. Mayweather doesn't like southpaws, Pacauiao doesn't like counter punchers and many other things.

It's a pick 'em to me but I favour Pacquiao because of his extra power.
