Actually, outside of a small minority, Pacquiao is getting a good share of ridicule for his "excuses" and Arum is getting a good amount of grief for even suggesting a fight with "Bandito" Margarito. Right now the outrage is at a simmer but if any of it gets into the 'serious' category the uproar will be much louder.

Perhaps in the misunderstanding you are confusing the fact that if Mayweather were to suggest that he wants to fight someone he is saying it as HIS OWN PROMOTER. If Pacquiao is suggested as picking an opponent it's actually Arum who is doing the selection and Pacquiao has the 'political' cover.
That's the price Floyd pays and the reward he reaps for being his own promoter/match-maker.

 

I don't think anyone would crucifiy him. I'd love to see him fight Cotto or Marg....Not really Yuri. I'd watch Floyd fight just about anyone. He's a great boxer.

If Manny fights Marg it's one thing....WAR! People love boxing for differnt reasons but one thing is universal....People all watch boxing to see action. You can appreciate the craft, art and skill....you can love watching talent but everyone wants to see a fight! Marg and Manny would be hell for how ever long it lasted.....Cotto was a great fight even though it was very lopsided and a dominating performance....depending on how and if he beats Yuri that might be a more competitive fight at 154.

Everyone knows Floyd has no issues giving Blood and everyone already knows Manny does. how they go about negotiating the particulars is all a fight in itself. To see who can dictate the negotiations...winning the pre fight battle.

Floyd started that battle with the allegations and demands. Manny is responding and we had a stalemate.....maybe round 2 will be more progressive.

 

It's only a double standard when things go only one way. ***** blindness is also an epidemic on ESB and you are the suspected host.

 

Floyd with his blood testing demands was the boggest stumblling block in regards to the fight not happening. Pac's not the *****.

The only thing Pac can be credited as saying is with regards to his mother, the rest is down to Arum or Koncz.

I take it everything Floyd Snr, Uncle Roger and Ellerbe spout can be put down directly as coming from Floyd?
