PBF/PAC drug test situation - update please?

    Eight times seems maybe more than necessary for an 8 week training camp. Just doing 5 randoms would surely be as effective because those tested would never know when it was going to happen so couldn't risk using. And 5 tests would vastly reduce the costs making it easier to implement in more fights. A blood test before and after the fight should always be done as a matter of course.

    EDIT: Though I hate the way Joyboys have jumped all over this testing as a way to diminish Pacman's achievements, I agree that all sports need proper testing. And if anything boxing needs it more because of the inherent risks.

    No contract was EVER signed.

    Why has Pac, nor Arum nor ANYONE from his team complained that Mayweather wanted this added?

    Because it wasn't added.

    Thanks, though it doesn't get me completely "up to speed" (which is the reason I created the thread) :).

    So far, we know Roach initially agreed to OSDT on the 13/14th December, then reneged on his word. I can let you know something about HGH, it is indeed indicated (but not proven) by a slightly distended gut. Bodybuilders often take it in large quantities, which gives even an otherwise chiselled set of abs a large padding of fat, which looks odd considering the obliques are showing.

    HGH could well be THE reason that Manny has jumped so far, so successfully in weight.

    If you look hard enough, you will find that they did.

    That was when Pac seem to back out of because of the possibility of blood being drawn from him close to the fight.

    Pac's team then want to salvage the fight that's why they offered an alternative to the OSDT.
