Im not debating that fact that Mayweather should beat Manny. If you read my post on page 5, I said it appeared and was also agreed by the corner of Clottey that he didnt throw much because he was worried of Manny power. He would only throw when Manny stopped punching. Manny was bound to get hit sometimes if he throwing over one thousand punches. And that IMO was be design by Manny in order to get Clottey to open up. Mayweather provides and entirely different puzzle as I already stated in my original post. And again simple logic will show you that if you are square instead of at an angle you provide a much bigger target area to your opponent. You see we can compare notes respectfully instead of you throwing out that people dont know anything about boxing. Again I never disputed Mayweather will defeat Manny Pacquiao, Mayweather is all wrong for him.:deal

I disagree again. I don't know what was going on in that corner, but Clottey seemed to be angry at his coach. I don't take anything the coach said or says as relevant to Clottey's mind state. For you to say that "afraid of his power" crap? From a guy never KOed with a A+ defense? If you say so.

Again, I disagree. No sane fighter gets his face busted up "by design". Pac has gotten his face lumped up even in his wins! He could have shown and opening, slipped, and countered. That is what Zab did. Pac didn't. Pac was just punched squarely in the face at will.

Simple logic? Dude boxing at its base level is "simple logic" then you adjust the art for the fighter. If you have the proper tools you can fight square and be effective. If you don't? You don't square up. So are we talking about "simple logic" or how squaring up reduces the pop on a straight right? Because we both know that Clottey fights somewhat square. I don't think you know.

The point, is, was, and will be that Manny was hit flush by a fighter who fights relatively square. That means his straight right often isn't as stiff as it possibly could be. When he fights a guy who blades his body and throws a FAST straight right he is going to be shredded down the pipe.

If you think getting clocked square in the mouth was "the plan"? I don't know what to say to you about boxing. :huh

It's ridiculous to be claiming to know better than a coach/trainer. Sure, you know more than the coach, because you're a fan of Floyd. :huh

    Stop embarassing yourself :rofl

Again, not to beat a dead horse Im not saying getting hit was the idea but who are we talking about here? Has Manny ever had that that ability to slip and counter like Zab as you put it? And please dont give me the De la hoya performance. Essentially we're both saying the same thing. Its my opinion the Manny Had to open up like he always does in order to make the fight. He is not going to slip and counter. You say his face has got busted up, is this news? Who didnt bust up his face when they hit Manny? Some people like Hopkins, Clottey and Mayweather just never get damaged when they fight largely because they are more defensive- cautious fighters. Manny is not that. Again to quote the point of this thread. Manny will lose to Mayweather but we need not make a huge deal about him getting bruised with right hands because this is nothing new from Manny.

Clottey landed what? 3 shots and Pacquiao looked like he was in a ****ing train wreck. Not enough has been made because it wasn't that Clottey landed it was the fact that Pacquiao's face looked like **** after so few punches. Mayweather should land 3x that amount and I don't see how Pacquiao's face is going to hold up.

It wont:-( My point is since when does Manny's face not get busted up, he's a come forward action fighter that gets hit.

Yeah, but when has Manny fought a slick boxer who isn't going to trade and take damage? Mayweather is going to be like a matador and is going to wear Pacquiao down and once Pacquiao begins to lose vision due to swollen eyes or cuts its just going to get easier and easier.

Agreed 100% in my thread title I acknowledge that Mayweather will defeat Manny, but again the evidence many people want to use is that because Manny was busted up in his last fight. I think its simply because Mayweather is all wrong for him stylistically. Manny has won fights with a busted up face.

Because they are really over the hill!!!

Mosley is over the hill! Period. Forrest punished Mosley more in one round than Mayweather did in 12 rounds yet Mosley did not crumble like that!

Hello! Been saying this for a long time, Mosley is o0ld.

Judah did not only quit against Mayweather, he quit against everybody that punches back.

JMM is what? a LIGHTWEIGHT! He is pound for pound number 2 which is the favorite excuse of the Floydettes but he is not ranked top 100 as welterweight. Infact he is not ranked at all. So who the **** are we joking?

    Just sign the dotted line.

On the same note, only the Floydettes are saying that Mayweather already won even if the fight has never happene!!!!

The threaad is jsut staing a Floydette phenomena - the fight is just a formality to what is a foregone result.

Talk about a bunch of losers.

You want to think about how it will turn out?

The fight will be hard to predict!
How would Mayweather adjust to pressure and how will Manhy adjust to the pace of Mayweather. Only God knowsd and I think it will be competitive.

Pac throws with both hands with power now when before the right hand is just use to measure. He KDed down both Cotto and Hatton with the right hand. Plus he can take a welterweight punch (so much is being interpreted with his marked face against Clottey - when anybody who knows boxing know that when you are punched in the face you would be marked up (except JMM in the Mayweather fight), the important thing is was he dazed?)

Mayweather on the other hand has a very good right, good defense but almost non-existent jab. And has very good timing, probably unmatched today.

It boils down to if he can time Pac and if Pac would be discouraged by being hit.

So to say with 100 per cent that Mayweather wins is just idiotic.

There are intangibles that no one can factor like for example how age would affect a fighter, like Mosley.

You on the other hand is just plain idiot. And if you are hurt by the posts, deal with it. It is not hate, and if you think so then refute it.

    IUt is not hard -

    Take for example Judah -

Was it the first time that Judah gave up mentally in a fight? He give up in all his fights against anybody that gives him problem. iT'S LIKE, "OKAY, THIS FIGHTER CAN FIGHT,,,,OH...OH, WHAT AM i GOING TO DO NOW?"

Mosley - was Mosley really performing as Pound for Pound number 3 in his last 3 or 4 fights before Mayweather? Or was the Margarito fight probably his last hurray, the one good fight left in a really an old man.

JMM - what is there to say. The fight was at welterweight. Show me a welterweight ranking at that time where JMM is top 1,000 fighter or even top 1 milliuon and I will shut uip forever. Sure he was the pound for pound number 2!

It is easy to refute these if you could argue but all you do is label someone a hater when you can't.

Take the tests and get whipped like the rest. We all want to see the fight. Manny "does it for the fans". Let's get it on?

It has been shown that there were 8 tests. 4 blood + urine and 4 urine. Is that what Manny is afraid of? Is this what you think is reasonable from him? What does he fear? Randomness? Man up Manny!

What is Mayweather afraid of? Pac is afraid of needles, while Floyd is afraid of a roided pac?

If the midget is roiding but he was so sure that he could defeat him so why the paranoia. Pac can inject himself all the chemicals found in the pharmacy and it won't matter.

Better, why don't they pay the most advanced lab to run their test using urine as basically all dope can be tested for it and let them fight.

Or better still, to make it even field, why don't Mayweather start taking PEDS and see how far it will bring him.

    Or better yet, refute me!

When a huggery gets out of a hand, slap them with a logic and you get labelled "hater" or "don't know boxing".
