Haye sure as Hell will not be fighting Wlad anytime soon so why can this fight not get made? Holding it in Moskva (Moscow) is unlikely but while Haye slinks off to a corner biding his time, waiting for Wlad to get old or slip up again. Povetkin might as well take his opportunity. Lord knows he will not be getting much if any better with Atlas training, or should I say stealing from him.

I love this BS from Povetkin's camp that I hear since 2 years how they have all these "very important, very wealthy" backers from Moscow that will put in an insane bid in the purse bid and then stage the fight in Moscow.

Wasn't there a purse bid once already -- before Povetkin injured himself when he fell over a treet stump while jogging? If I recall correctly K2 won it. Maybe Povetkin's alleged financial backers are just an illusion to force K2 put in higher bids.

Regarding Haye: It appears Sauerland already "knows" that Haye has zero interest in fighting Wlad. After all they're his co-promoters. It's amazing how Haye is completely silent on this matter and leaves us boxing fans in the dark.

 

If Povetkin wants the fight in Russia, he only has to win the purse bid, simple. He's a nobody and in no position to make demands.
