Seriously? The pads are to be initialled by the commission after it was wrapped as well as the boxing glove taping has to be initialled. Handwrapping has to be witnessed by two parties (opposing fighter's rep and the Commission) otherwise, a re-wrapping could be requested. And anybody who does not send a rep to witness handwrapping is an idiot. There were incidences of cheating before that is why those rules were implemented. If Margo did that against Mosley, it was probably more of desperation as apparently he came to the fight ill-prepared.
might be true! once a gauze pad is wet and allowed to dry, it forms into a solid mat and hardens. We are not privy to the details of the events, so who knows? However, to insinuate that Margarito was doing it since he started fighting might be stratching it a bit. He can not possibly pass all the handwrapping inspections in his entire career.

Well I think it is valid in a way because Mosley was the same way against Cotto early on. But both fights there was a lot of wrestling in the clinches, which probably also tired him out. Inactivity definitely played a role though. No doubt.
if this is true Garcia must take one hell of a punch cuz he just kept coming and made Margo run the second half of the fight, Margo hit him with everything and couldn't back Garcia up. commentators said that Garcia made him do something no other fighter has made him do before, BACK UP!! after watching the replay of the fight i over heard margos corner tell him "YOU ARE NOT GOING TO KNOCK THIS GUY OUT, HES TOO STRONG. Don't worry dude, according to freddy it was a translation mix up. First it was, the guys not Margaritos manager, then it was, he's not the real manager, now it's lost in translation. Dont worry rudy, I figured it out. Margarito did use old pads, old pads that freddy had on his hand when he was done training with him, then they went into the locker room and freddy was jerking him off, thats how the pads got hard and had a white substance on them.
