I was not being sarcastic, I was genuinely asking you what the other two fighters apologized for.

    My Letter To Kermit Cintron:

    Kermit,

Last Saturday, May 8, I had a choice: watch my first live fight between you and Paul at the Home Depot Center, which is convenienly located 2 miles from my house, or watch my beloved LA Lakers play the Utah Jazz in the NBA Playoffs.

I chose to watch boxing. So after paying $26 gen admission tickets, $15 for parking, $15 for beer and nachos, I got to watch 2 boring first 2 rounds, a better 3rd Round, and an exciting half of the 4th Round. I thought I came to watch boxing, not a diving competition.

By the way, I heard I missed an exciting Lakers game where they won 111-110. Thanks to you Kermit. Thanks to you.

If you get your rematch with Paul Williams, I want free tickets, free parking, and free beer.

Why aren't you writing one of your BS mailbags, lol?:D Or better yet taking a header into an empty pool? Cintron laid down and HBO, the ultimate arbirter, knows he's a quitter and won't front 1 million like they apparently did for the first fight. Winner takes all for 250k, a fight in two weeks. PWilliams already holds a win over a man most believe to be a coward so why take the fight even if a third-rate boxing writer suggests it.:hi:

Cintron was doing ok.I belive him,i cant see any reason why he would pull out other than injury.People are always going to be pissed off when a fight ends like that but it aint the fighters fault this time.

If Cintron wanted to fight on and wasent injured, why not make the fight inside 2 weeks from now - dont see any reason for a delay ?

Mainly because of money and the promoting & planning of the fight.

Where would they fight? What about the promotion? Who would broadcast it?

The real money is from the cable (HBO) networks. HBO's become more selective with a limited budget, or so I've heard.

It takes too long for all the other factors to come into play. What makes sense for us fans, doesn't always make sense with the powers that be.

Well that was one very absurd and shitty opinion.

Good for him to explain to the fans what happened. I believe him and can see why he'd be pissed off.

It should have been a no contest.

3 round and 30 second decision, **** that.

Because he wants another pay day. Christ, how do you not get it?

I love the way these Cintron apologists completely ignore the doctor's comments. It's a joke, defending the indefensible.

He shouldn't get another fight, he can **** right off.
