I think Tyson would get the clear UD, but he's not chopping that big tree down. He's going to lose a lot of power having to punch up that much, if you think Ruiz looked like an angry child then bear in mind Mike's something like three or four inches shorter yet.

If a bigger, more explosive puncher in Haye cannot even stun a way past it Valuev, I seriously doubt that prime for prime little tiny Tyson could do it. I mean, so what if Tyson knocked out scrubs and light heavyweights. He was okay but he wasn't on Valuev's level. He could go a million rounds if Valuev let him and still not get the knockout.

You're right. The only reason they say he wasn't in his prime was because he lost. By that thinking, nobody ever loses in their prime. As soon as they lose, it's obvious they weren't in their prime. Silly!

What's so funny? His best knockouts? Light heavyweight Michael Spinks? Shot has-been Larry Holmes? Razor "Never Was" Ruddock? 9-18 Don Halpin?!!!

There's a powerful rebuttal. If you disagree, let's hear why.

Tyson's punching power is indeed something of a myth. His raw power was not enough to take out heavier fighters like Williams and McBride.

Sure, he was past it at that stage, but power is the last thing to go.

There would be no brutal KO of Valuev, who could handle him like Tyson handled Givens.

tyson's head and upper body movement make him a very hard target for the slow valuev to hit and once inside tyson would rip valuev apart with body shots followed by fast hard hooks to the head ,speed and power here are tyson's winning formula plus the fact that valuev is not that skilled. in fact this will make you laugh but for me carnera would of got a decision over valuev ,carnera was quicker than most think on his feet and had a pretty decent jab. but then we are all entittled to our opinions

David Haye is very skilled and yet he barely beat Valuev. Indeed, all of the Sky Sport team, save Ian Darke, believed Haye was outboxed and did not deserve the decision.

Valuev has skill, and plenty of it.

Bull**** American propaganda about its own sports figures is what that is. Tyson is faster than Valuev? Or does he just blindly, mechanically throw many more punches with no thought or creativity or skill? Anyone can flail their arms around and look quick! Valuev certainly can, but he is a tactician not a ******ation person. He throws punching when necessary! LOL And Tyson's famed and praised "head movement" from his "masterful" defense...ahahhaha! Valuev doesn't robotically throw his head back and forth like a sideways metallica fan. No! He moves when it is actually necessary and conserves his energy like a professional. Primo Carnera was a mafia creation. Valuev is a self-made man. He lays waste to both Carnera and Tyson on same evening time.
