I hope not! We need Floyd vs PAC! It's the only MEANINGFUL fight in boxing at the moment. There are other great match ups but this fight means the most for boxing without question.

This really is a nothing fight.

Only difference between this and Clottey is that Margo will use his chin as defense and he'll throw more punches and hit alot of air.

It's pretty much pacman moves in bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang moves out, margo punch and hits air for 12 rounds

    Unfortuantely i agree!
Just a quick question, is Pac's next fight scheduled for Texas? Because PBF has already said he wont fight there. I no that venues can change, but it doesnt feel me with confidence

    Or am i missing something?

it seems like arum wants the floyd fight. meanwhile, floyd camp is still quiet about making a negotiation.

**** Arum. This **** is milkin Pac for all he's worth. Greedy ******* is feeding his own fighters to each other and getting most of the money. I wish Pac could leave him just to see Arum's face.

Remember when Arum said he wouldn't get in the way of the megafight last go-round? OK.

Anyways, I think the original poster is probably correct and it will be incredibly disappointing if that's what happens.

Truly, I wouldn't care. Maybe Floyd would fight Sergio Martinez then... that fight is intriguing. And one way or another, Pacquiao vs. Margarito would be interesting. Would he be able to outdo the ass taxing Shane gave Margarito?

Also, this would add further credence to the concept that Roach likes to set up Manny with fighters who have recently 'lost something'. Marg got his ass beat like Cotto, Hatton and DeLaHoya before him. So from that standpoint, this would not be a good look.

Arum stated in a recent interview that both Dallas stadium and MGM Grand were possible destinations for Pacquiao's next fight.

I just read on Espn that Arum wants the fight with Maywether and got the o.k with Pac to start negotiations as early as next week. Arum said thats the fight everyone wants to see including himself and he will try to make it happen. Dayam Jew.

Cheers. On Sky Sports News (UK) it only stated Dallas as a venue.

lying? he is being interviewed and he thinks taht there are some blunders from their side that scrapped the fight. at least we know that from pac's side, they want to initiate negotiations for the floyd fight. meanwhile, floyd and his team are still quiet about it. maybe having some problem finding other guys with age of 36 or above?
