Would be similar to Ali - Cleveland Williams. Lewis is so ridiculously overrated here.

The ring IQ of lewis , his ability to use his reach , nice jab and great power suggest it wouldnt be anything like that. Lewis has a much longer reach than Williams , is taller and Williams came in at 213lb so Lewis is much heavier

Lewis never faced anyone with the speed, ring IQ, chin, and heart of Ali, never. Ali faced people who hit harder than Lennox and had better chins that Lewis, maybe they didn't have the size, but he fought people who could fight on the inside as well as on the outside. I see no way that Lewis beats Ali once out of 10 fights.

Come now, a prime Lennox Lewis went life and death with Ray Mercer. To say that he woud walk through Norton is wishful thinking, at best.

Same can be said about Lewis.
Lewis never fought a fighter like Ali that had the speed, footwork, and head slipping of Ali.
I can't forget to mention his incredible heart and chin too. Lewis never fought ANYONE likke that.
    I don't think Lewis beats 74' Ali.

Ali via wide points decision and lewis with a cut up and busted up face. Ali still pretty at the end, Speed of foot and hand would be way to much for lennox and he will tire. Ali will bust him up late, maybe even stop him or wide UD. 10-2 11-1.

I have a grudging respect for Lewis. I didnt like him at the time as Im a Tyson fan, but can appreciate just how good he was.
Still NOWHERE near as good as Ali at his peak, and Ali would have jabbed his head off, and when Lewis couldnt get his jab off, his whole game suffered horrendously.
See him v Mercer, Vitali and Rahman 1(yes I know he was in poor shape), for examples of this.
I think Lewis could beat most heavyweights, when he was at his best, but I believe Ali is one he wouldnt have.

Id argue Ali hit at least as hard. Vitali's no monster puncher, and Ali was more acurate, quicker, and more varied.
Ali's style was about quick slashing punches, but when he sat down on his shots could really bang too.

 how would modern training help Ali? Look at the pace he fought for 15 rounds and then compare it to Lewis... anyway Ali wins this fight on the cards fairly widish.
