I thought Morales was meant to be fighting Barrios as well.

Limmond is decent at British level but i don't think he could handle even this version of Morales. Still, Limmond seems like a nice fella. Hope he can get a decent pay day out of this.

Wasn't he meant to be fighting Salita a year or two ago? Don't know what happened to that fight.

I think Limmond posts on this board...im sure i have seen him on the Brit forum. Hopefully he might see this and shed some light on the situation.

I was hoping Erik's next fight would be at light welter. I'm worried about him draining himself to make weight, I think that was a problem in a lot of the later fights in his career.

Also, if the fight is at welter, you can bet there's gonna be Morales Barrera IV.

He did but it hasn't been seen on here for a while. It was his trainer who broke this exclusive on the Brit Forum so the Limond camp obviously think it's a done deal.

He wasn't KTFO. Pulled out by his corner because of a suspected broken jaw, if i remember correctly.

This would be a mismatch, I don't care how far past his best Morales is.

I actually thought he looked reasonably good in his fight with Alfaro. He fought at too good a standard for the feather fisted Limond. Especially with that granite chin.

    Only one winner.

    Morales should have fought Casamayor.

Despite the fact Im a Glaswegian myself & I quite like Willie Limond.... as usual, I will be rooting for Morales 100%.

Even at this stage of his career, the best Mexican fighter of his era should (in theory) still have way too much class for wee Limond.

Happy for Limond too tho, its a once in a lifetime shot vs a pure legend.
