and his clear disdain for floyd along with the rest of the older white guys in the boxing world just cannot be ignored. so good points go out the window in my book b/c he just doesn't like the guy.

When you ask a guy for olympic style blood testing for the first time in your career, you know what that's all about - fear.

and when the guy doesn't accede to the request then you know what that's all about - guilt.

Well........Larry marches to his own beat. He definitley doesn't like Floyd but he respects his skills. Everyone should. But he doesn't like or dislike a fighter b/c of their apperance. I think he treats fighters differently if he doens't agree with their actions out of the ring. He love Evander Holyfield and always praised him. I just think he doesn't like Floyd so one will be hard pressed to see Larry side with Floyd if he doesn't have to.

That's not true.......when someone is in court for a crime they are accused of they don't go along with the prosecutions demands b/c they are guilty.....they go against them b/c they are either innocent or looking to pull one over.

Here's the thing - why should anyone ask for flexibility when he's required to take only 6 random blood tests in a 2 month span? Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall any Olympic boxer pleading for a cutoff date or any type of change in the procedure. If you're demanding a cutback for such an easy task then chances are you're either guilty of drug use or the biggest wussy on Earth.

That cut and dry huh? I take you are siding with Floyd on demanding the olympic tests for Manny..... It's more of posturing. Floyd demands and Manny counters. Two EGO Maniacs reach a stalemate where both sides are unwilling to move off their amended demands. Now with MORE $$$$ maybe there will be more room for compromise.

bad analogy pac is not accused of anything by being asked to take a drug test...they both are subject to the same testing procedures. guilt only comes to play b/c he flat out refuses to be tested within a certain time frame.

Really?:think I could have sworn that these demands came AFTER the fact that Floyd and company began spreading rumors about Manny being on some kind of PEDs or roids which was the root of Floyd demanding Drug testing in addtion to what the commissions require.

I know they are both subjected to the same test but that is only b/c Floyd said he would also do the test. The fact is he REQUESTED THEM...Not Manny.

Refusing the tests within a certain time frame doesn't prove guilt or innocence. Just like DRUG TESTING MEASURES don't prove you are clean or dirty. It's just a method used to help deter illegal drug use but it's easily beat by those who have the resources. Both Manny and Floyd have them.

Man Charlie I can't wait until all of this is over. You are smart and say a lot of reasonable stuff then you get on this subject and... Don't defend this bizarre crap.

you mean "and company" floyd never said manny was on anything and i'm not naive to the fact that he may think he is on something b/c his father and uncle are the one's who said that manny is on ped's but thats neither here no there imo the fact is he requested drug testing and if he refused with the same excuse from the beginning than maybe it would be such an issue but manny's story changed many many time of why he will not take the test. just take the ****in test is my train of thought .....but again **** both camps and give us the fight we want to see!
