I agree 100%, something that always bugs me about Tszyu is that his record lacks that A+ opponent.

Please never ever ever post again. Comparing Angulo to Tszyu is quite possibly the dumbest ever comparison in this forums history. Angulo couldnt shine Tszyu's shoes.

I'm guessing you must be a Zab nuthugger, because you hate on KT like nobody's business. And how could anyone hate on KT?

:good Kostya is the man not just because he beat a lot of good fighters during his extremely long reign, but because he BEAT THE **** out of those guys. Watching him fight was a great blend of mental precision and concussive power.

Ive always thought Tsyzu was very overrated. He had a real good win over an undefeated Judah but I doubt he would have done it twice (but then who knows and he did it once, so fair play).
I always thought S Mitchell was overrated as well.
The main person to call Tsyzu a great is Ricky Hatton, when hes trying to give himself some praise, calling him the great Kostya Tsyzu

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

what guys were that? DLH? NO
    Pernell Whitaker (HELL NO)
    Castillo? NO
Frankie Randall BEGGED for a shot...NOPE....Tszyu picked the bones of chavez later...not even a Juan Coggi....How about the monster puncher James Page (yeah 147, but could have been made) Fred Pendleton? he didnt even fight a ward or gatti type...tszyu fought boring ass garbage fights....
Trinidad was hovering at 146-147 back then....

people talk about his early career
he foughts guys not on a down slide...but at the bottom who were journey men gate keepers by then

juan laporte 12 losses and had lost 7 out of last 11

sammy fuentes - 10 losses - lost 4 out of previous 6 fights :huh

livingstone bramble- 11 losses- had 4 wins in previous 13 fights :happy

he beat some guys with good records, pineda, hector lopez, corey johnson, jean bergmen....but tell me, what are these guys known for besides losing to KT? nothing...they stepped up to fight a young tszyu..and got beat..they have no wins against anyone big even afterwards...so not much credit for kostya if they never beat anyone...he did what everyone else did that who fought them later...he won

jake rodriguez- zero power solid fighter- a win greatness does not make

roger mayweather- solid win-very dangerous...but 11 losses at this point

vince phillips- we know what happened here- what didnt happen was a rematch....

calvin grove- last fight for grove- lost 5 out of 7 last fights

D hurtardo- solid fighter, no big time fight..undercard of something...and knocked down 2 times....

MA Gonzalez- great record- good solid fighter- good win.

look at facts and change them as you will....its all overrated....there isnt a fight people talk about in regards to a great fight or him being a great fighter....... whitaker-chavez, chavez-taylor, DLH-Quartey, DLH-Trinidad- , jones- hopkins, tyson-spinks, tyson-holyfield, lewis-ruddock, lewis-holyfield,
    tszyu vs .......??? Judah.....

    :deal:deal:deal

How do you draw that conclusion? I guess its easier just to make up conclusions based on nothing than to actually think out a good response based on KT's record. If you think I am wrong, then dissect my opinion and give a counter arguement based on the facts. By the way I can't stand Zab Judah (talk about a major professional disappointment, not to mention a whiney little punk).

By the way to answer your question how can anyone hate on KT, thats easy just look at his pathetic record.

    I guess 2+2= 7 to you.

Kostya Tszyu would have beat Zab Judah 10 times out of 10.
    Without any question.

Zab had a good 120 seconds, where Tszyu worked him out.
He hit him hard once in the first round, and Zab noticeably backed off after feeling it.

Kostya missed one right hand by inches in the second, tried the exact same thing about 4 seconds later (same set up, same punch) and landed. And Knocked Zab down THREE times with one punch.

(A punch Kostya also says he wasn't really trying to hit hard, only put about 70% into it).

Zab as a fighter could put a few good rounds or minutes together. He'd have to be at his peak for 12 rounds to beat KT. Seeing as Zab has never, ever done that, I find it hard to believe he would do that against KT.

The myth that "Zab done good and Zoo landed a lucky punch and if Zab took he knee he would have won" is one of the most ****ing ridiculous things I hear repeated on this board.

If Zab had taken a knee and got up, he would have got absolutely, totally ****ing destroyed.

Boxers immediately become an ATG if they make there opponent do the chicken dance.

Who rates him that high anyway?

Who puts him on the same level as the premier fighters of the day?

He is arguably number 1, probably top3, definitely top 5 at jnr welter alltime. But thats not a weight with the kind of history of light or welter. No one puts him on par with the top 5 or even 10 of those weights just because he rates high in his own.

He is a little overrated..generally by Australians because he had a good style to watch and was easy to like outside the ring with his humble and laid back demeanor.

Extremely overrated? Grossly overrated? I cant see how...because in general I just dont see the majority rating him on the level of the other fighters being mentioned in his thread.

His resume is as solid as anybody's at the weight.

Is he an ATG? Just depends on how you personally feel about that term . IMO if you are going to call him ATG than the pool of fighters you are labeling as such is getting pretty big, maybe to big.

Whitaker was outboxed pretty easily by Hurtado and put on his ass 4-5 times.

?????No one even dreamed of going up in weight after the MAG fight who was as good if not a better champ than Castillo and who proved his credentials by beating Chavez and breaking DLH's face at 140. Castillo was a pretty average JWW once he did go up in weight and was gifted a win against Ngoudjo and was demolished by Hatton.Castillo was stopped at 126, 130, 135, 140, 147. Only held the WBC LW title in his career with 4-5 defenses.

Frankie Randall got embarrassed & ultimately KOd by Rahilou in his hometown who was outboxed pretty easily in turn on home turf by Sharmba Mitchell.

I can reply to every one of your points but I just don't have the time.

Tszyu had great boxing skills which is why I rate him highly and a very good resume as well.

Why bother? It's already been done dozens of times, and I'm guessing you've read those threads too. You're a hater, and a hater's gonna hate... doesn't really matter what I say to you lol
