Why is everyone so upset at the prospect of a Pac-Margarito fight???

    Man if you didn't think that fight was thrilling I don't know if you know what good boxing is. That was an amazing fight!

    FMJ may have been a little more dominant than some would have liked, but hey that is boxing.

    Once again, good boxing does not always equate to thrilling:patsch

    You want good boxing, see Jones, Mayweather, Whitaker, etc

    You want thrilling, see Gatti, Marquez/Vazquez, Castillo/Corrales, Tyson:deal

    Cuz everyone wants the pacquiao-mayweather fight to happen already. I agree this fight would be a good fight style wise but like many posters here, i don't think margarito deserves to get a fat paycheck.

    No you think tough guy contests are "thrilling". Watching a guy absorb insane amounts of damage due to being over matched, having horribly flawed fundamentals, or a corner/officials to blood thirsty to call an end to a contest isn't "thrilling".

    Jones was thrilling not a good boxer. He was an insanely fast puncher.

    Some people think great boxing itself is thrilling.:good


    Some people think a slugfest is thrilling.:good


    And some people think a P4P showdown where the heavy favorite is rocked, and then fights uncharacterizingly aggresive in his response like never in his career is a thriller...:good:good:good


    Floyd/Shane fight was a thriller. I'm not a huge Floyd fan, but I was on the edge of my seat pulling for him after that 3rd Round.
