I doubt Adamek would fare better against Wladimir. This would be the logical choice for Adamek, because if Chambers or Adamek wins they are one shot away from a title shot. In Chambers case he can redeem himself after losing terribly against Wladimir.

I really like Adamek, and I hope he does well- but I think this is the problem. Povetkin and Chagaev are similar in that they are very good, technically sound all rounders but who don't excel at anything offensively. We saw what happened when Chagaev fought Wladimir and most people think it would be a similar story for Povetkin or Adamek. At this point only a guy with the sort of power Haye has will trouble the Klitschkos, because no one will outbox them

Adamek-Povetkin would be a good one, but I don't want him to fight any of the top 3 just yet

so enlighten me, what is so special about adamek to make you think he's gonna beat any of the major belt holders?? arreola sucks, adamek was the favorite in the fight for a damn good reason, and THATS why.

And yet I remember distinctly you picked against him in his last fight. And so did just about every expert associated or interviewed by HBO. Do you want me to dig through your posts and embarass you or will you finally just stfu when it comes to Adamek? What makes him special? He's a 2 weight division champ (3 if you count the minor belt he picked up in his current campaign), has beaten the likes of Paul Briggs, Steve Cunningham, Oneill Bell and Chris Arreola and in just his 3rd HW fight is already a serious player in this division. He's an exciting fighter and always comes ready to fight. :hi:

Adamek has eclipsed Haye at CW and is already doing so at HW, in half the fights it took David to make any noise. Haye may have some speed over Adamek, but Adamek is the better all around fighter/boxer, with much better fundamentals ( like how to throw a proper straight one two combination). His resume at LHW, CW and now HW says so.

    Yeah, hes good.

But you can't compare Adamek to Haye. Haye won 3 belts at Cruiserweight, Adamek only had one.

    :nut

Haye's best CW wins: Frag, Mormeck, Maca
Adamek's best CW wins: Bell, Cunningham, Banks

Seems pretty even to me, if not tilted slightly for Adamek esp. considering Haye's loss to Thompson in this division. And w/o beating USS, claims that Haye cleaned out CW are inaccurate.

Couple that with Adamek's successes at LHW (only losing to someone ranked by most as p4p top 5) and HW and you're talking about the better p4p fighter than Haye thus far.

I don't care what you think about their potential strengths/weaknesses, hypothesized match up etc., their overall career resumes show that Adamek ought to be currently ranked higher than Haye on any p4p list (i.e., success in more weight divisions, loss to a much higher quality opponent).

But if hype and trash talk is what matters, than by all means rate Haye higher.

Vitali did indeed finish Arreola, you must have been watching another fight.

Ranking boxers is not only about collecting belts, but opposition you face too.

Chambers is risky for Adamek. I think Adamek probably wins on points, but it would be close. If Chambers comes in-shape he might have a good chance. Of course, the other names in play, Peter and Thompson, are probably even riskier than Chambers......

The fight Adamek should want is Haye. The question is what does he have to do before then? Has Haye made any mention of wanting to fight Adamek?

Don't see Adamek-Chambers as I'm not sure what Adamek gets out of it. Would be a good fight though and make for good tv.

Haye is not small but he's basically no bigger than Adamek. Both guys are right around Holyfield's size.

You can't compare Adamek to Haye? Are you an expert?
