jt does not have a glass jaw ive train here with him for years and was there when he knock joppy clear across the ring, an seen him take big shots, what we most agree on its his stamina 6th or 7th round and hes done but hes a better athlete then 99% of people he has faced and when he gets somebody hurt he wont go in for the kill n e more and he only got like that when he left our gym for the high profile trainer. and as far as his partyn goes he does go out all the time, i mean **** this is little rock, theres nobody else here so hes treated like royalty, but look at his opponents he wasnt just a belt holder, he was a champ

In a shocking statement after the Abraham fight, Taylor and DiBella both said he was in his best shape of his ENTIRE career. Too bad it had to end that way, I mean it was a really, really bad KO of a fighter who finally felt fresh after years. Hard to tell how much that right hand took out of him, but I'm glad he's taking a break.

No. I think he can be ok, but he'll never be top 10 again in my opinion.

He's had trouble finishing off fighters long before he started suffering KO defeats.

    I agree.

His stamina is what he needs to work on. With it, he could have been much better off.

Maybe not... But i think that in the Froch and Abraham fights he was actually winning when he was knocked out...What the loses have done to him is hard say,but i think he wont be back...But Taylor can still fight,he showed that against Froch and AA.
He could be back, and if he do i think it´s possible to be in top 10 in 168 division..

he threw crazy combos and used his long jab b4 he switched to steward, he destroyed joppy i was there totaly lopsided knocked joppy clear across the ring, next fight threw a 10 punch combo and the ref had to stop it, the first fight against bernard threw punches a bunch but against little spinks and ouma is like hes just tryn to be done with the fight i was at the ouma fight and didnt think jt was near the same fighter, ahh **** u rprobably right i just like the guy since he taught me how to box and i want sumthn good for him after what happend at the super six

His decision to withdraw from the super 6 shows that he is completly done and not able to compete at that level any more.

He has no punch resistance. None. He is finished at the top level.

There's still a whole lot of guys out there he can beat, but I don't think he'll get back to the elite level again, nor do I think he should try. He was beating Froch, but he wasn't beating AA. The reason he ran out of gas in both of those fights is because he stopped keeping himself in shape, and started relying on massive weight loss in training. But we may see him again because the rumor is he's not been careful with his money. I didn't train with him, but I'm in sports journalism in Little Rock, and he's been seen in Hummers and even a Lamborghini around town.

I don't think he can compete with the elite anymore, but to be fair, he was sort of forced to withdrawal from the super 6 and was upset by it.

Taylor was never that good to begin with, a mirage created by HBO. What are his best wins? Gift decisions over Hopkins and Wright, in fights he would have lost without the influence of HBO! Or maybe his victories over lighter weight fighters Spinks and Ouma. Or perhaps beating up a has-been like William Joppy.

Taylor was a mediocre fighter with connections. Without HBO, he never would have held a title.
