thats true, pacquiao has never fought a great defensive fighter. i agree with you on that, however likewise mayweather never fought a guy with this type of offense before, and this type of stamina. and pacquiao is as akward as they come. it going to be harder to time pac, then other mayweather oppoents. both men are going to give eachother more problems then they have ever faced before, making this match-up all the more intriguing.

Their records aren't equal, where has this myth come from? Pacquiao has beaten better fighters and therefore he should be held in higher regard this point, at least in historical context.

He also said they have equally comparable records...which isn't true. I've been hearing this a hell of a lot. Madness.

Good assesment. At this point I also favor Floyd but not by much. This fight is going to come down to reactions and toughness, which they have both displayed in a big way in their most recent fights. I don't think either of these guys have faced a fighter with better reflexes than they will be seeing against each other. Mosley could not match up with Floyd's reflexes and Cotto and Hatton could not match up with Pac. I'm going to watch Floyd and Pac. in their fights vs. Hatton a few times and look for some clues.....Just one example of great reflexes; Pac's ko of Hatton really highlighted Pacs ability. Pac. was about to throw one punch and when Hatton was countering that punch, Pac. immediatley stopped and countered Hattons punch with the KO.

Please Hatton would have taken the same beating at 140 even then he did at 147.. Ricky camp thought that they could deal with what they thought was a slower floyd at 147 instead of the speed demon at 140.. so this is just another excuse , Hatton won the 147 strap end of story. this still applies to marquez because floyd showed that he does not need to use his size, speed and strength to beat opponents just his skill ..

please, shane is 38 years wise but not health and life wise his body is much younger. So please disperse with the BS that shane was old. Shane was suppose to be the bigger stronger fighter and floyd showed you that he can match shane in strength now floyd hater only explanation was shane was old.. Second Pac has also shown that he style can be nullified it has yet to be proven that floyd style can be nullified.. let see what happen to pac when his speed and power is no-longer a factor how will he adjust, and can he adjust.

better fighters like who? Cotto?...Morales?... hahaha, come on man!! Morales was a warrior but he wasnt his best when Pac beat him, and im not even gonna mention the Marquez fight!!!

...ok then, just this one time ill do it...

    Mayweather: marquez-hatton-de la hoya-mosley-corales-judah-gatti-castillo

    Pacquiao: marquez-hatton-de la hoya-cotto-morales-berrera

    ....very comparable!!

see i dont think pacquiao has anything special when it comes to reflexes. I think he has beaten welterweights in recent years because of his power and speed. They have been seeing him as the little guy above his limit and have been walking into a whirlwind of power and speed and paying for it. floyd wont do this!!!

you dont get it ADDIE the TS is stating that the type of fighters that pac has been fighting are similar in style...they all come forward and have no defense...

the three fights u named for floyd showed 3 different styles of floyds,,,

may marquez showed a counter punching chess match floyd

may hatton showed a rough inside dirty fighting floyd

and may mosley showed an aggressive come forward counterpunching floyd...

    A blown up Super Featherweight.

Not on the same level. Not as effective at 147lbs.

A 38 year old fighter who hadn't fought for 14 months...and who was feeling the pace after 3-4 rounds.

Pacquiao has beaten far betterfighters, and should be remembered as the greater fighter...unless Floyd does something dramatic with his remaining years.

pacs timing will be thrown off by the jab judging that mayweather will set up all his punches off of that cuz he has such an extreme reach advantage...

also expect mayweather to hold a lot in this fight

To pacs advantage ive never seen his opponents clinch when he starts with those crazy flurries...They try to exchange with him and thats how they get koed or lose the fight....

This fight is going to be like may vs hatton..i see a lot of pot shotting and tie ups by floyd in this fight initially to wear pac down...then he will put him away once pac loses focus...

i dont see pac stopping the over hand right either...thats an automatic for floyd....

pacs only chance is to catch floyd during an exchange like mosley did and to then jump on him

I can't believe people have convinced themselves that Floyd has a comparable resume...
