Seems like a long, long time ago that Shamrock announced his retirement after his third beating at the hands of Tito. Can't believe he's still kicking around.

To think what a prime Coleman would have done to Shamrock. Let me guess Mark will be back on gear and move back up to heavy? Honestly its frightening to think these fossils are still fighting to pay bills.

Prime shamrock was a mythical beast who looked like a beast because he was pumped full of gear !!!!!!!!!!

Shamrock has always been shite , his brother Frank was a fighter 2 generations ahead of his time , and sadly now he's shot .........

Ken juices and Coleman is ancient..he doesn't condition or keep himself in the same shape as Randy. Shamrock probably but they really need to take up training/coaching full time or something.

:thumbsup Boom. Through the WWE theatrics and the hormones Ken had nothing more than some crude ankle locks. In MMA he sucked ass.

Ken did not suck ass people. Yes in the modern day MMA he was an awful fighter but in the mid 1990s this guy was arguablly the best fighter in the world. Is that really that impressive ? Probablly not but it cant be argued who he fought and beat in those days. Ken drew with Oleg Taktarov and Royce Gracie in the rematch under special rules but it doesnt take a genius to figure out Ken beat both men on those nights, Ken submitted Bas Rutten twice, Dan Severn, Masakatsu Funaki and Maurice Smith. So thats awhole bunch of guys Ken beat who had previously or went on to win Championships or Tournaments in Pancrase (the place to be back then) or in the UFC.

Ken Shamrock was a tough tough guy in Pancrase. He was suplexing people and locking all kinds of submissions on them. You should check out his matches against Bas Rutten whom he beat twice and was the only guy in Pancrase to do so or against guys like Funaki or Matt Hume.

I remember the second Ultimate Ultimate event was advertised as having both Coleman and Shamrock fighting in it way back in 97 (?). This fight is still mildly intriguing to me even though they are both well past their primes.

Does anyone else find it ironic that this is apparently the Steroid PPV? It has all the guys that were either caught using steroids or were heavily rumored to use them. lol
