Margarito was extremely hated before the Cotto fight because frankly, he punked Mayweather..Not saying he would beat Mayweather, but he got to his face, called him out, put him on the spot, Mayweather stood sitting down, Margarito was standing looking down on him, and was caught on video..... Then he embarrased the second coming of Tito in Cintron, and then he embarrased the other second coming in Tito in Cotto.

He was hated by many passionate fans, and they will never give him a second chance.

I will, I gave Mosley, Toney, RJJ, Vargas, Trinidad, Hopkins, Jirov second chances...And some of the things those guys is worse.

 

I think its a disgrace too...He should be banned for life!!!Some say that Mosley and others was cheaters too,and had a second chance...But there is hell of a difference between taking steroids and loading you gloves!!!
Look at Cotto´s face after the fight is stopped!!!There is a clip on Youtube where Cotto´s father talkes about how he sees it...Cotto took a lot more punishment in the pac fight,compared to the Margo fight!! His face is completly destroyed after a couple of rounds with margarito!! If you watch boxing often,it´s clear that it looks insane what happens to cotto´s face!!!It´s not powerbombs he is being hit with,and it just looks unreal how his face gets messed up,with those kinds of punches..Somethings wrong,am absolutely sure...
When a fighter think its okay to load his gloves so his opponent probably gets his face destroyed...And dont gives a ****.And continue doing it...Then the fighter is a ****ing criminal scumbag!!And offcouse he shouldnt have a second chance to become an millionaire...I really enjoyed watching Margarito fight..But the things he have done is IMO the absolute worst thing possible!!!

:good I think there are alot of fans using this as an excuse to vent there disliking for him. But the truth is they hated him all along and are now getting all moralistic and basically just milking the whole situation.

He was banned for 12 months, served his time....

Many other fighters have cheated, drugs, wraps etc - Toney, Mosley etc and get a free pass.
