i did, unjustly, put him in my top 30 at one point but pryor's accomplishments, like mosley's, cannot be abolished because of their respective mistakes. **** happens but their records are phenomenals regardless

Mosley has never tested positive though...whether he admitted it or not (whether it was unknowingly or not...with the first being more likely). You can't disregard a boxers career and achievements just on the basis he was "found" cheating.

For example...Maragarito...that guy sat there, and whether it was just against Mosley or not, sat there and let his trainer put cement or whatever the f*** it was in his bandages. If your a boxer, you know what is being wrapped around your hands...and the fact he hasn't admitted he knew what was going on yet...I disregard anything he has achieved or will achieve in boxing.

Greatest ATG's of the last 20 years

    1. Pernell Whitaker
    2. Manny Pacquiao
    3. Roy Jones Jr.
    4. Evander Holyfield
    5. Julio Caesar Chavez
    6. Bernard Hopkins
    7. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    8. Erik Morales
    9. Lennox Lewis
    10. Marco Antonio Barrera
    11. Oscar De La Hoya
    12. Ricardo Lopez
    13. Winky Wright (Very underrated resmue. He should have gotten the decision with Taylor. He has great wins over Mosley twice, and dominated Trinidad. Also Winky should have gotten the decision over a young Vargas, and has good wins over an older Ike Quartey, Sam Soliman, and Bronco McKart.)
    14. Joe Calzaghe
    15. Sugar Shane Mosley
    16. Felix Trinidad
    17. Juan Manuel Marquez
    18. James Toney
    19. Kostya Tszyu
    20. Jose Luis Castillo

Morales by a pretty good margin.

Winky beat that ****** steroid head vargas too. DLH avoided him cause he knew what was up. Floyd called him out and when winky so ok floyd pulled back. They knew theyd loose. No one but hopkins at 160 would have been beating prime winky from 154-160 these recent years

I disagree on a couple of your positions...but it is a very good list.

Calzaghe above Mosley? and you could possibly argue, why is he above Marquez and maybe even Toney?

I know Calzaghe is underrated on this forum, but I'd probably have Marquez above him...and Toney maybe aswell.

Morales and EASILY..not gonna start stuff with threadstarter but only an idiot would choose Mosley over The Great Erik Morales as far as acclompishments..tougher opposition fought..tougher opposition defeated for their respective weight class...

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

I think Marquez is very underrated in general...he had to "fight" his way to the top to be recognized, and it could have turned out very different for him if he was given the W against Pacquiao in the 2nd bout (which I think he deserved!).

Marquez is probally my favorite fighter along with Hopkins over the last 20 years but Calzaghe was undefeated and I like his wins over Hopkins, Kessler, domination of Lacy, and Eubank. The more that I think about it though the more I like Marquez' performances over Pacquiao, Diaz, Juarez, Barrera, and Casamayor then I do Calzaghe's wins. It's close either way. I'll probally move JMM up though cause I am biased.

I think JMM's resmue is starting to look better than Mosley's too. Mosley didn't do much besides DLH, Margarito, and Collazo above 135 and that 2nd DLH win was tainted.

Toney was great and I really like what he did at 160 and 168 but he had 1 big win at crusier and was a huge dissapointment and heavyweight and lt. heavy. JMM did more overall, and Calzaghe was more consistent.

honestly, i gave pacquiao both fights by a point but it's marquez's brilliant performances, regardless of the outcomes that gets him soooo much credit.

marquez put on two masterclasses against an ATG in pac...calzaghe put on a masterclass against a bodybuilding hobo in lacy

and you're bang on, he fought his way and spent years being ducked by hamed and in turn barrera and morales.
