Fair call. I just ejaculate every time I even think of Pryor closing the show in the 1st Arguello fight.

 

That was his most accomplished win and it came up against an Arguello was at the tail end of his career and at his most effective at 130lbs. Puts Pryor's career into perspective, he has become outrageously overrated by some...

Hearns is too low.. He was better than a few of those guys like Sanchez and Lennox and Jones. And a case can be made for Virgil Hill. Why is Marquez on there? Virgil Hill is underrated because he didn't have many knockouts, but his career was great. Better than several on there. And Marquez wouldn't be in my top 75.

 

I love Marvin, but I always thought Hearns was greater. Many people find it hard to rate Tommy over Marvin because of Marvin's win over him, but Marvin was a natural at mid, and Tommy won titles all over the place and fought and beat greater guys than Marvin ever did, and more conclusively. If you rate Marvin and Tommy on other fights and not the fight they had with each other, Hearns comes out way ahead.

 

You keep going on about Pryor being overrated, Arguellos was might not have been the same at JW, but he was still a great fighter and could have easily beat any other JW out there. Arguello was still very great at LW too. I rank that as a great career win, deserving of his ranking by most. Although i know something was fishy with that black bottle thing in the first fight.

Pryor defended against some good fighters.
