    See this is the hole in everything you guys say, "...he fights the same fight he always does. ..." That is COMPLETE and utter nonsense! Clottey IS still a top 10 WW. He is not a fighter to be taken lightly. You do notice that NOBODY else fights Josh Clottey?

    Even when he had a belt he couldn't get a fight! Except Cotto (Top Rank)... which conveniently set up...

    Google it. Better yet do a search on PI boxing forum. It is all over there. Clottey got his purse DOUBLED after the fight. WTF? This is from a pro-Pac PI paper.

    I can't knock what you say about him being grateful. So maybe he could have been humble in the lead-up due to that "break" he was given.

    It still leaves me with a funny feeling that his purse was doubled AFTER a fight that looked VERY strange.

    Like I said, Arum's comments? They are just one clue. After adding all of them together? Strange.

    Why don't you tell that to the 35 people he beat. It should be 38 wins.

    One judge had the Cotto fight 111-116! WTF?
    One judge had the Margo fight 109-118! WTF?
    Baldomir he was DQ'd.
    Pac... Well.

    First of all if the fight was fixed wouldn't you think they would of told Clottey to make it look more impressive instead of just standing their and doing nothing. He at least should of went down one time to earn that bonus. Also if it was fixed the bonus should of been kept secret and not been made public. If it was kept secret and than someone found out about it, that would of looked kind of suspect.

    I doubt Clottey has ever done something like that before. He looked completely out of sorts once he got to the States from Africa. The fight looked strange too. If he would have done what he always does Pac would have been knocked out. Hell every punch he threw landed!

    The bonus was basically kept secret! Most of you guys didn't even know it existed! Ask around how many fight fans knew that Clottey's purse was DOUBLED after the fight. Most don't know.

    Yeah and I 100% agree with you. He is a very good fighter and still a top welter, but Manny shut him down. Why don't you give Pac some credit? Clottey could have been a little more game that night, but honestly what could he have done to win that fight stylistically? He's always been a low workrate fighter, and even if he threw double the amount of punches he did, he was still going to get outworked.

    most people here expected that pac is going to handle clottey pretty easily, and now that pac done it, people suspect the fight like it was fixed? the f&$K?!

    See this is what I mean. If he is so "easy" to outwork why has he NEVER been outworked before? He ate Margarito's shots. He walked Cotto down. He ran over Baldomir. He doesn't have the highest work rate, but the guy has literally NEVER been convincingly beaten. He had NO work rate against a guy he could hit at will. Huh? Alone? It makes no sense. With a doubled purse AFTER the fight? Wow.

    No only you *******s did. Anyone who has watched boxing knew what a threat Clottey is. He is still ranked 5-6 in the world at WW.

    Clottey had a belt and couldn't get a fight. Clottey saw the writing was on the wall for his career. He is an African and will never have a following. Take the dive and get your purse doubled or slay the Top Rank cash cow and be thrown to the curb. What choice would you take?
