I always liked Haye's explosive approach in cruiserweight and was looking forward to his exploits at heavy. He's a top fighter, no doubt, top reflexes, good movement, amazing hayemaker. His trash-talking was hilarious, and I was looking forward to what could be the most exciting heavyweight showdown since Lennox-Vitali.

The Wlad fight was being discussed last year, and they eventually settled on June, only for it to be cancelled. Then Vitali stepped up, but that got cancelled as well. Haye went down the Valuev road instead (fair enough, he was an undefeated champ), and had his mandatory with Ruiz.

The Klitschko's have been very clear and open. They're ready to fight, and they're even calling Haye out, and for all his talk, Haye is starting to get a bit ridicolous now.

The fight might still happen, I'm not saying it won't. But personally, while I wanted Haye to crack Wlad's chin before, I'm more inclined to watching Wlad give him a punishment now for his attitude.

It's not that I dislike Haye, but I've gained more respect for Wlad, and think he should give Haye a beatdown for his unbacked cheekiness.

Finally, if the Harrison fight somehow happens, I'll be backing Audley all the way. He gets way too much disrespect on here, and I would absolutely love it if he finally got his big win against David Haye.

Has anyone else changed camps around here?

I used to despise Wlad but the way he's conducted himself the last year or so,he's completely won me over.

I'm looking fwd to Haye eating humble pie.

I didn't like Wladimir either (I don't even know why) but he's got class, and I actually appreciate his fighting style as well. Pretty damn efficient. Best heavyweight jab I've seen in a long time, top stamina, always turns up in shape.

the Harrison fight is just a bull **** rumour. Adam Booth and David Haye have both come out and said they will not consider it. It does not add up if they were looking at that fight. Look at hayes records and the callibre of fighters he has faced in a small amount of fights is extremly high and his team has always chased the best.

If he doesnt fight Wlad, it will be Adameck or Povetkin.

Just because Bernd Bonte and some american journolists are coming out and saying things to put pressure on the haye camp, doesn't mean that Haye is ducking anyone. Haye is in the process of negotiating a deal for the biggest fight of his career, if he comes out and says "I WILL FIGHT HIM IN HIS BACK YARD FOR £10" then it puts him in a bad negotiating position.

    Haye is the WBA Champion
He is the only meaningful fight for the Klitsckos
Without Haye there won't be a deal with HBO, worth £1million
He made £8million in PPV sales in his last two fights
He took 5,000 to Germany, that will be double for this fight

Last time they agreed to fight Haye was only recieving money from UK tv. That was the £1million deal he agreed with Setanta. He also had 3 fight options on him. Do you think the Klitsckos have offered him a better deal this time???

There are two sides to every story. you might have more luck with a **** post like this on the general forum. Dont beleive everything you read like a ****ing moron.

Mate, I don't have to read anything. It's been almost two years now that Hayes saying he'll fight the Klitschkos.

And I'm not saying he's ducking them, because he might end up fighting them eventually.

But his inability to back up his talk, and the Klitschkos willingness to get it on, means that some people, like myself, no longer want to see Haye crack a Klitschko chin, but now we're looking forward to Wladimir putting Haye in his place.

Still a great fighter though, and I'd love to see him knock out the likes of Adamek and Arreola.

i'm more interested in what the klitschko's offer haye to be honest before making a decision. i understand that boxing is a job, it's a business, and money is involved in making fights happen. if the klitshko's offer haye a reasonable offer and haye still refuses, then yes i'll lose interest in him.

The same Povetkin that Haye labelled a BUM when he gatecrashed a charity event????

You'd be happy with that? A bit hypocritical if you ask me Rob.

Wlad was happy to give 50/50 according to Chef. Take that whatever way you wish but it wouldn't surprise me to be true. Wlad wouldn't be publicly calling out Haye unless he really wanted to fight him. Do you really think he would offer a slave contract and not be willing to budge and let the fight fall through after that?

I had changed positions on Haye long ago.
