In the first article the K brtothers aren't even mentioned. this is in the second artice about the brothers This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
The first article was written a few days after the fight. It is a typical follow up article after a big sporting event. Editors realise that their is still interest in said sporting event for a little while afterwards so they often get their journos to write follow up pieces. This one is just about what Haye had to sacrifice in order to train for Valuev. It didn't go into any more detail because it wasn't meant to. All other things to do with the fight (fight report, Haye targetting Vitali) were covered in other articles. Other articles that you can find by going on to the first link and scrolling down and clicking on the other articles. I can't defend the second article. Its a **** poor article by a guy that usually is a decent boxing journo. The Klits are mentioned in the last article. About half way through it says, "After his mandatory defence against John Ruiz in the spring Haye wants to take onUkrainian brothers Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko, who hold the other three main belts between them." Like i said earlier, the Brittish press' boxing coverage is certainly not great but it is nowhere near as bad as a lot make out.
I hear that Haye's response to Adam Booth who presented Shelly Finkel's written offer on behalf of Vladimir Klitschko is that he really wants to fight Vitali Klitschko first. Makes sense. That way he fights them in alphabetical order. Can't argue with that.
Haye is a terrible disgrace for the HW division. He should disappear, quickly. Didn't he talk about retiring already, if he is unwilling to make a big fight happen right now and rather wants a vacation he should retire right now.
I'd like it noted for the record that I don't discredit Haye because he "talks alot of ****" actually I think that's an important part of boxing. Some mouthy guys I like, some I don't, but the Haye thing has little to do with his talk solely, it's the things he says then the choices he makes. If he didn't talk we probably wouldn't be having this conversation, but I don't have a problem with the bush league tactics fronting the Klitschko's in the airport and talking sh!t every other day, I mean lay your balls out there and take your chance...I respect that, but don't do that then fight Valuev and Ruiz and try to act as if you've "done something".
