No matter who Khan fights he's guaranteed a UK TV deal.Against an opponent the casual fan would have heard of makes it that bit more sweeter especially for a terrestrial TV channel.

Because his people know his chin is pathetic and any one who can punch will knock him out.

23 year old and fighting Paulie for his first real USA exposure bout and you're calling him hyped and protected?

You guys have the business accumen of a dead slug.

Give the boy a chance, even if he is being a cocky little *****.

Because us people into boxing often see an immovable object meet an unstopable force so it'll be a nice change of pace to see what happens when Paulie trys to know khan out........

He was cherry picked, no doubt about it.

I don't think Khan would deny that either, he's said himself that he's only fighting Paulie because he wants to look good on his US debut which to me shows he knows he won't be troubled by his punching power, so he can take more chances and go toe to toe in there rather than having to fight at distance like he would against Maidana.

I don't buy the talk of Paulie being well known in the UK so being a better opponent for tv reasons either, he's known for getting his haircut in the middle of a fight on Hatton's undercard and then getting his ass beat in a one sided fight again Hatton.

Thank you...That's all I am saying. It's sad that only a handful of people understood what I was saying.

why doesn't Alexander compensate Abregu to make the Bradley fight? Is he scared?

Do you see the Difference....For Alexander, who is the same age as Khan and 3 less fight. According to you, he has to fight THE TOP-DAWG at 140lbs in Bradley....But it's perfectly acceptable for Khan (also a belt-holder) to take a fight with minimal risk in Malignaggi. And if Alexander doesn't fight Bradley, According to you, questions and accusations of being scared!!!

 Conveniently ignore the recent statements being thrown out by the two sides why don't you. Contracted dates aren't the reasons why Alexander is being ignored by Team Bradley, contracted dates aren't the reasons that are preventing this fight up from happening. Why? Because a couple of days ago Gary Shaw (Bradley's promoter) told reporters how dissappointed he was in not getting Zab Judah in for the July date, a date you're saying is soley scheduled for Abregu, and one they are looking to fully honour. Pffft yeah right, they had no problem brushing him aside to get Judah in the ring. The funny thing is, he's been blasting about fighting every other worthwile opponent (Khan, Maidana etc), but not even giving a peep to Alexander! And what's their reason? Money! They don't see Alexander as a profitable opponent, stating they'll wait for his name to grow before considering him as an opponent. Absolutely nothing to do with a measly contracted date and venue, something which can so easily be changed!

See that's how everyone on this board sees through your nonsense Darryl. You think a guy who's still on the learning curve, and who hasn't even stepped on to American soil yet, is obliged to fight the number 2 Light-Welterweight (who happens to be black). Yet you don't have a problem the top dog of the division, the number 2 Light-Welterweight (who also happens to be black) choosing to ignore the guy who's hot on his tail in the rankings. You're always quick to point out how American, British, and Latino fighters continiously avoid Black fighters, yet here you have one Black fighter avoiding another Black fighter, but you somehow still weasel to pin the blame on someone else. Good going :good

 Shut up you little girl.

First of all, it's almost unanimously that agreed Alexander (despite being the same age as Khan) is comfortably a better and stronger fighter. He's progressed the ladder far quicker than Khan, and is simply more seasoned and prepared to take on the best. Whereas Khan carries obvious vulnerabilities, and is only just making his US debut at the tender age of 23, a very bold move (despite what you claim) for a Brit, who are more accustomed to moving overseas in their late 20's! So Khan is excused for not taking on the best immediately, simply because like I've already alluded to, he's not yet ready.

Oh and by the way, Alexander's not the one who's scared to take on Bradley. It's the other way round

First, can I ask you a question? What the hell is it with you (and everyone else) with all the BLACK STUFF??? Why is it that the Forums be filled with "Irish Boxing Threads", "Pinoy Power threads", "Mexican Warrior Threads" and "Boricuas are the Best Fighter threads". But when I mentioned that my favorite prospects are Antwone Smith and Mike Jones, it's always "Of course, they're Black". Why is it acceptable for everyone else to have an appreciation for Fighters from their Race, Culture or even the same social economic background....Yet when some that's DARKER THAN ERIC ESTRADA does it...IT'S A PROBLEM....OR IT'S RACIST!!!

To assume that I or any poster believes a fighter is better based on race, culture or skin tone is just absurd. In fact...I challenge you or any poster to find any post of mine where I have ever said that a fighter is better because he is black, or his jab is better or his hook is better, or his counter-punching is better or that he'll win the fight....SIMPLY BECAUSE HE IS BLACK!!! IT'S F***ING ABSURD.

The only thing I have ever done is ask (continuously): "Why certain fighters are held to a higher standard?" I see daily the numerous threads calling Alexander, Bradley, Berto, Williams and Mayweather...etc OVERRATED. And I think to myself...WHAT??? Yet a fighter like Calzaghe can build a resume of F***ING BUMS AND OLD MEN...and be considered as an ATG???? And when I question his resume or Khan fighting Malignaggi, JMM fighting diaz again or even Paquiao wanting to fight the winner of Foreman/Cotto....I am called a RACIST....REALLY??? So it's acceptable for Pac to fight the weakest 154lbs belt-holder or a fighter he just beat....But for Floyd to get any "real credit" he has to climb all the way to 160lbs to fight WILLAMS AND MARTINEZ. And if Floyd wanted to fight Cotto/Foreman Winner he would be CRUCIFIED!!!!

And I don't know what's more sad: The people who call me a Racist for asking these questions. or The fact that it's obvious that people don't even know what RACISM is!!!!
