Dunne is a very entertaining analyst - he just says it - no bullshitting. He was the same when he did the analysis of the boxing in the last Olympics. Rock is good too - in fact RTE **** all over Sky when it comes to the panelist:good

 

Perez looked to be sucking for breath in his second fight - didnt look in great condition. The stoppage looked very soft too (his second fight).

 

Dunne is very good. A rare combination of articulacy and experience. The rest of the panel are less impressive but still generally better than most of the halfwits on Sky.

However the commentary, my ****ing God the commentary. I find myself watching the fights on mute because the in fight commentary is so dreadful. It's actively distracting to have a ****ing idiot babble drivel at you during a fight.

I like Boy McAuley doing the commentary, but Magee comes out with some mad **** - it is kinda funny because he really doesnt give a **** - he just lets it flow - what was he saying tonight about ali and Liston at the end of one them rounds in the Lee-Thaim fight **** sake!

 

Magee does my ****ing head in. I've nothing against McAuley, but Magee does the vast majority of the talking. And he talks non stop ****. It's like he's never seen a boxing match before.

 

Mc auley is like a broken record never stops repeating himself. Magee makes me laugh.

 

I actually find Magee funny, anything he says can be twisted around in my dark mind into a perverse meaning..

The panelists are top banana though. No joke, they are the best panelist's I know of. dunne was very good, and mick D is always brilliant..

McAuley is alright for the most part. He just needs to get himself a thesaurus though. He over uses the word 'cracking', and the phrase 'cracking shot'.
