Arlovski has always been overrated. He won the UFC title when the division was desolate.

Horrible fight, first dud of the night.

    Bigfoot by decision.

    Demolition Man is apt.

Great performance by Overeem there. Good event overall.

I wonder how well his strength would translate against a big wrestler. Those knees to the body really bring a different dimension to gnp, though I doubt he would be able to use it/have the opportunity against top notch big wrestlers.

He looked very good. Almost enough muscles to match his ego.

    lol

Yeah - I was thinking the same thing.

That fight turned out exactly as it should have with the experienced MMA fighter dominating the guy who has always gotten by on brute strength alone.

Strikeforce needs to get Fedor in the ring with Overeem as soon as possible or else their heavyweight division is going to remain a joke.

I don't think its as bad as you make it out to be.

They will make the fight it has to there is no excuse for M-1 now.

did rogers look unusually tentative tonight? like he was very respectful of Reems striking. If the Rogers that fought Fedor fought Reem it would have been a much more contested fight.

Fedor should take out Werdum in a few months time without much difficulty.

Then we get Fedor vs. Overeem for the title.

There's no excuse for having the guy Fedor just beat challenge for the title before him. M1 needs to quit screwing around.

Yeah it's bull****. I'd prefer to see Overeem/Fedor first and have the winner defend against Werdum, but as long as the fight happens I'm not too fussed.
