Has ITV done a REALLY poor job at marketing the Khan fight and boxing in general?

    This is bulsh1t

If ITV built this fight up in the same way as Sky etc I'm pretty sure it would get large number of viewers.

It's clear this is a one off fight and ITV just can't be bothered!

They also mentioned it on the FA Cup highlights. But only at the end. A couple of ads plus a mention at the start of the FA or even half time. Would do wonders. Its not rocket science!!!!!!!

The publicity for this fight have been garbage. Even reading the Daily Mirror today they had article about the fight, but nothing about it being shown in the UK and Barry McGuigan who analysis fights for ITV never mentioned anything about the fight being shown live either. Just lazyness.

I thought ITVs commentators weren't so bad. I noted at the end of the fight, the guy said ITV would be happy to show Khan's fights in the future.

Hopefully they'll start to show boxing more regularly. Hope the numbers are good this morning!

I can use whatever figures i choose to illustrate my point ****head!! Talk about the village policeman.

The 6m viewers for Khan show how popular his fights (and boxing in general) can be in the UK. Big Brother is one of the biggest shows in this country....can't believe i have to explain this to you.

I apologize profusely to you and anybody else concerned if i offended you with my entirely inapproriate comparison, and in future will endeavour to keep any comparisons purely boxing related.

**** off and do your homework before you go shooting the breeze *****.
