Wait a minute. Pryor v. Arguello 1 was a close fight until the end. Anybody who says Pryor would have won is just giving an opinion because he was not in any way dominating that fight. It was a close, extremely close battle. His trainer definitely asked for a specific bottle and Pryor surged in the next round. Pryor did win the rematch fairly handily.

I'm going to ask tomorrow at the gym. Pryor is a local guy to Cincinnati, has been to my gym many times and my coach knows him very well.

I'll see if I can get the skinny on it.

You think that the guys at the gym Pryor frequents are going to say anything bad about him????

If you ever get a chance to talk to Aaron Pryor himself, ask him how effective those pills Panama mixed into his water bottle were?

He'll probably say, "what the hell are you talking about?

......and you can tell him, "ah, you know, Luis Resto described how Panama would crush asthma pills into his fighters water bottles to open up their lungs and make them breathe easier.

.....and then you can go on to say, "did'nt Panama Lewis ask for the bottle he had mixed right before you stopped Alexis Arguello?"

Be ready to run though, he just may want to take a swing at you.:D

Divac turns everything into Pac hate, just like his answer to your question. He's like a scientist that could have been brilliant had not someone run over his cat and stole his girlfriend, instead using his knowledge for evil, brewing his hatorade.

So you think that both Pryor and Pac are clean?

No, actually. Think Pryor did just what he's expected to have done. However, the truth was never known. But I believe he did.

Just bringing Pac up because Divac did. Seeing a mixed bottle being served to Pryor on camera and hearing a loud runt of a man like Mayweather Sr. slander the boxer who just tore his fighter a new ******* and made him look like a fool in front of millions of viewers are two different things.

    Whats wrong with my parrellel?

I thought I answered it just fine. People today are so stupid that nothing short of lab evidence convinces them of anything.

Its the same with both Pryor and Pacquiao.....even though there is reason to believe both are cheats, people like yourself refuse to apply logic and probablilities to anything.
You want the lab evidence because you dont give a **** whether the probablity they are cheating is great or not.

I dont think its because his fighter lost the Mayweathers reacted that way, but the way Pacquiao has been beaten fighters. Im not a scientist or nothing but you cant ask a guy to come up to welterweight in less than two years and become a bigger puncher than Shane mosley. Thats what Pacquiao did, and yes I really do believe he has managed to hit harder than Shane.

    Apparently they will.

I asked today and he told me that the water was mixed with something to make you breathe easier, but he couldn't remember what the name of the substance was. He went on to say that whatever it was, it was not illegal.

How is it not illegal, when you are only allowed to bring water in the ring, as far as I know.

Its always been that a fighter could not drink anything but water inbetween rounds.......
......a few years back, it was temporarily changed to include electrolytes for hydration, meaning a fighter could drink Gatorade between rounds if he wished.
.....dont know if that rule became permanent or not.
....but certainly its illegal for a fighter to take anything between rounds to make him breathe easier, and certainly last time I checked, neither water or Gatorade opens up the lungs.

Yep, so we can almost be 100 percent sure that Pryor did cheat that fight.
