Am I the only one who think there's something "not quite right" about Katsidis

He is a cranky type in his interviews... not just last night

 

Disgraceful thread. A guy works so hard to pull off a performance like that and he is suspected of being on drugs on a public message board. Horrendous.

And for your information, if he did train Pattaya.... that is where some of the greatest Muay Thai legends fight out of so do some homework on the fight scene over there before you go around insulting everyone.

Well it makes sense as it didnt seem as though he has a large travelling fanbase that would go around the world to watch him fight which is a pity....I have to say he def has a cool personality to match his fighting displays, introducing him to a few of my mates who watched the fight last night who of course lapped him up...
He should sack of Oz an start fighting out of the UK...an get a real fanbase!!!?

He should have done that a few years ago, probably a bit late now. Definately the type of all action fighter that the average British fight fan can warm to....nice guy

Lets just say congratz to both fighters....well done to Mitchell...he will bounce back...great win for Katsidis...he looks better each time I see him :good

 

1/ He's a guy who is often involved in long brutal wars, in which he takes a lot of punishment as well as dishing it out.

2/ He's fighting in the opponents back yard in front of a very big crowd.

3/ He's a slight underdog going into the fight.

4/ He then puts in a very good performance, taking little damage and putting his opponent away in the 3rd round.

I think we can forgive him for wearing a goofy grin and generally looking delighted at the post-fight interview.

Floyd Mayweather JR has really cleaned up boxing.

No positive tests, just people accusing every winner of being on drugs.

 

I can see him playing the joker in a future Batman movie. But right now he just deserves credit for his performance.

 

What an utterly bizarre thread.

 

The only thing I though about his interview, and everyone I watched the fight with agreed, was he came across as a class act in victory. Very respectful to his opponent, too often you hear some mouthy wide boy ranting on about how this was just a stepping stone and he's going to do this and that next.

 

i'm just going to take a hunch here, but maybe it could of been fighting in front of 30,000 people, and beating the betting favourite in his hometown, retaining his title.
