Does anyone else hate Humberto Soto?

the moron majority here. Just avoid their posts and make your own, how you would normally make them and attract quality responses instead of quantity. I avoid any post with more 50 or 60 responses. Try the same.

I woulda really like to seen Zorrita take on JMM, Katsidis, Guerrero, or Juan Diaz before he went up to 140. But whatever the case, much props to Soto and i wish him good luck on his journey to 140. Dude is a great fighter to watch. :good

 

I'm ok with Soto he can make for some entertaining fights. I think part of the deal with Soto is that he fights oftern, usually 4 times a year so he's going to get in some easy fights and Arum loves to put him on tv so we see a lot of those fights. But it would be good if more fighters took a page out of Soto's playbook and fought more often to build up their profile.

But there is a point to the thread that I'd agree with. Soto has been a top fighter for a few years now, fights often, and gets a number of television slots. Yet, the only real top guys he's been in with have been Guzman, Juarez, and maybe Solis. He fights a number of solid guys like Lorenzo and Diaz but you'd expect him to have more of the top guys on his resume. A lot of that is due to his higher risk and lower reward profile but at the same time you would expect a few more bigger name opponents on there and I would like to see him and Peterson instead of him moving up in weight and fighting another lesser fighter or two there.

 

One of the most idiotic posts I've read. So, you consider yourself above other posters, yet you use base tactics to try to get responses? You troll to get responses? That would put you right smack dab in the minority you claim to hate.

 

Thats why I'm not crazy about him moving up to 140. Besides the weight being too much for him with a division that deep, I'm afraid we'll see him in with a few lesser opponents to get himself acclimated before taking on a real test. If he goes up and faces a top guy off the bat then I'm ok with the move to 140. But I don't want to see Soto in with just tough guys anymore, he's been there and done that, for a guy rated so highly I want to see him in with other top guys. He's already proven at 135 and has a title, its time to mix it up with the best in that division. I want to see him face Peterson, Katsidis, Guerrero, etc at 135 much more than I want to see him go to 140 and beat up a few gatekeepers.

 

1. Then don't turn around and say other people are idiots when you're on the same level. Or do it, I don't really care.
