I agree with this, when/if they fight again it's going to be a different fight.

Now, how he wasn't prepared for Lesnar is beyond me. Though even if Mir was prepared Brock would still tool him with those cinder blocks for hands...and I hate that (I really hate Brock)

    Mir's problem:

He was messing with Sasquatch. He didn't learn when he got into a fight with a Silverback at UFC 100.

Mir completley beleives in the relaxed approach to the sport , i honestly think your being a little critical and a little bit naive too , Mir is over confident yes but not as much as your making out , he's just super super relaxed , you have to remeber Mir is one of the most knowledgeable fighters in the sport , a true student of the game , he beleives whole heartidly that being relaxed its whats important .

I think Mir has two problems against the likes of Carwin and Lesnar , firstly he's too big , Mir should weigh in the cage on fight no more than 245 , instead he's had somebody fill his head with **** and say Frank your too small to compete with the big dogs , you need to pack on 30lb's it will make you stronger !!!!!!!! ****in BS , Mir is an average sized HW , his strengths are his JJ , his movement and footwork , and his much much improved stand up , he looked gassed against Carwin in no time at all , and i beleive had the Kongo fight gone on he would of gassed there too , id absolutley love to see Mir in sparring now that he's ****in massive .

Secondly his wrestling is no where near the level of Lesnar and Carwin , that coupled with his apparent lack of strength against these two is a really really bad combination , basically as soon as any of them two get there hands on Mir and dont fall into a submission , then its the beginning of the end .

Id give Frank Mir a good chance of beating any of the HW's in the division barring the wrestler's i.e. Carwin , Velasquez , Lesnar , and the likes , i think his stand up is as good as any in the world and he can tap you in a heart beat , in summary id like to see Mir drop 30 lb's and rely on his speed and movement and look to just go after opponents from the off , really use his stand up aggresively , i like Mir id like to see him in another HW title fight to be honest ................

Yea, Mir has one of the most relaxed approaches to fighting you'll see in the UFC, that I agree with. But he's also one of the most arrogant and cocky fighters also. I'm surprised I even have to repeat myself in saying that.

I'm not the one on Mir's nutsack dude, you are. You made a thread talking about how much he "loves himself" and that he believes he's "God's gift to MMA and the chosen one" as if you know the man personally. You making a thread bashing a fighter that has a high confidence about himself is kind of odd. You act like Mir is the only fighter with a "pompous" attitude. To say Mir is more WWE than Lesnar is, is laughable. So as I said, I'm not the one on Mir's nutsack. YOU ARE. You're just not a fan of the man and you like to talk **** about him. I would respect your post more if you admit it.

Mir doesn't possess a true fighters instincts. If he gets caught with a punch, taken down, smothered, put in to deep water at all he drowns. He just doesn't have the ability to make the correct judgements in tight situations or the heart to drag himself out of trouble. He brings no intangibles to the game.

Eh, kinda trueish..he was taking a beating from Brock before he caught him in the sub in the first match, and was getting beaten down in his fat days by someone I can't remember then came back on him (Pe de Pano maybe?)

Yes, I dislike him. I find his arrogance very irritating like you may find another irritating. Mir would be great in the WWE. They can re-create Mr. Perfect or something:lol:
