Nothing special, it was just refreshing to see Ortiz entering the Khan interview post-fight and see them both smiling and giving respect.

Ortiz entered the scene with a guess who joke. Both made funny comments of the marks of the fights. Ortiz answered a question that they'd fight each other and Khan said they are in the same promotion after all. Both complimented each other for the wins and it seems Khan and Ortiz' trainer are cool too.

Was just a nice scene considering the heated battles between their fans on these boards. Of course I'd love to see that fight especially now that both performed well.

It said on the British commentary that Khan beat him in the juniors, first I've heard of it?

Lucky for Khan because I really think Ortiz would be big trouble for him if they fought. Being on the same promotional team comes with an advantage I guess.

:rofl aww ****, is that the pic Khan sent to that *****?

Anyway in regards to the topic, yeah it was good seeing them two giving each other props. People seem to have forgotten about Ortiz since his Maidana loss, but I really do hope he too can be part of the big 140 fights to come in the future.

In fact, don't be surprised if these two were to fight each other next. What an awsome fight that would be. I got Ortiz stopping Khan in the mid to late rounds.

I really don't have a problem with two fighters showing each other respect. In fact, I love to see it. BUT we must keep in mind this is the fighting game. Sometimes friendship can be a road block for a mega fight to happen. Too much love between two guys also makes me question their passion to beat their opponent. After all, it is the game of hurt and you want to see a fighter have the intention to brutalize the guy they put in front of him. I'm not saying people deserve to be hurt but it's a brutal sport and getting knocked out comes with the territory.

Good so they won't have a problem fighting each other. I want to see these two fight if khan can't fight maidana next. Ortiz would be the perfect style to get ready for maidana.
