gets cut to easy. in the amateurs he was ok, but since turning pro for some reason he gets cut way too easily, and it's early in fights aswell against journeymen. i keep thinking that frankie is a very good boxer, he can go a long way, but i also can see him losing fights that he was winning because of cuts.

if he's getting cut this early against the opposition he's fighting, what's going to happen when he fights against higher level boxers going twelve rounds? it's a worry that's for sure.

Well, they can. It's as much his fault as his opponents if its happening this regularly. He might want to consider what he's doing with his head in future.

true, but the real worry is because he's getting cut so early in his career, and so early in fights. at the moment i'm just wondering what is it going to be like once he reaches the world level for twelve rounds, and gets cut in first-second rounds. not good is it?

gavin's only had about 7 fights, i think he's been cut in about three of them.

Arnie will get Frankie and all his lads in the best of condition...:yep

Mick Williamson will play are real part if cuts are going to be an issue... If Frankie is struggling at the weight that could be another part of the problem...:yep

It seems to be head clashes as opposed to shots, Gavin is a slickster...:good

What makes you think he lacks dedication?

If I had the talent of a Frankie Gavin or similar level to him living in this country Id be over to America in a flash, these kids can only get so much from sparring the likes of Matty Halls and other limited fighters, Gavin would come on leaps and bounds sparring all the tough kids all the different styles out there.

The only problem I have with you is your **** threads.

He's been cut twice, once in his debut by constant headbutts, not by one or two but by several and he was sliced across the bottom of his nose and then more recently he caught a nick under his eye. That cut was tiny and was nothing.

I noticed you've been away from the Brit Forum for a while now but I haven't fogot how **** a poster you was before then (and your constant negativity towards gavin) and now you're back. Did you not find the General Forum an apt place to post or what ?

    **** off

He keeps getting nicked, not bad cuts, the more He settles down the less of a problem, I think. Gavins is special.
