Khan displayed his great handspeed, using range/reach to great effect, defence, footwork, and one of the best hurting Jabs around, on his U.S debut.

Khan is still only 23 and there are a few areas he needs to work on, but raw talent and skill set he is up there with the best already. It was a controlled and following gameplan display.

With people always talking about his chin, I think 140 is his natural weight and with his body weight rebalanced at wild card gym i think his chin will hold better at this weight, we will see when he faces a puncher, but so far at 140 no chin problems.

Khan has been with Roach for 5 fights now, and by my scoring he is yet to even lose a round on points.

Yea very impressive the way he kept beating paulie to the punch. Even when paulie is ducking he was still getting hit clean. Khan has the skills to beat the top fighters at 140. I hope we can see him against maidana next or if not a fight with victor ortiz would be nice.

Very impressed with his jab, he was knocking Paulie off balance with it at times.

It was a very good performance. I think he beats everyone in the division except Alexander. My only criticism of him would be his tendancy to over balance and lunge with the right hand early on. If he does that against Alexander he's going to be met with a crisp uppercut.

Incredible jab, that punch is on a whole different level than the rest of Amir's arsenal, but if he's got the power jab working, he's gonna fine-tune the rest as well. He needs to give up a bit of the speed for better timing, foot movement for smart steps and better upper body/head movement and work on the inside game as well, but watching Khan hurt Paulie with a jab was like WHOA! That's a serious shot to get past whoever you are.

Khan landed more jabs 151, than Paulie's total punches 127.

    Thats crazy :nut

His jab was sickening at times. I really began feeling sorry for Paulie in the latter rounds, as it looked as though that bazooka like jab was gonna break his neck. I think considering Khan's main vulnerability (the chin), that jab is going to be potent weapon in guiding him through this division. But as RJD mentioned above me, his needs to be careful in the way he commits himself when launching the right hand.

After all Paulie is/was a slick boxer and was not allowing Khan to land that right after the jab, so Khan sometimes rushed in to land it.

I am sure Roach will address this for the next camp.

I was very impressed by Khan, I saw this as a 50-50 fight going in but it became clear very early that there was only going to be one winner. His jab was fantastic and showed a lot of power. I might not be his biggest fan but I was hugely impressed by Amir.

Don't get too carried away. Khan beat a hand picked opponent. Anyone can look good if you have nothing to worry about what is coming back. Malignaggi couldn't knock my little sister out ffs. Enjoy the win though. There are boxers a lot better than Malignaggi in the 140 division. Start bragging when your boy beats them

And another thing: Alexander is the same age as Khan but i don't hear people continually going on about how he is only 23 like Khan's fans do?

although roach is a great coach, manny steward would have worked wonders with khan.
