Khan/Hatton is the biggest realistic $ fight that can be made w/Khan's name attached to it.

Khan still needs at least 3 more good wins to even think about fighting a world elite like Floyd.

But Khan holds some key cards himslef for Floyd, cards i think no one has ever had on Floyd.

    *Handspeed
    *Reach
    *Work rate

Plus Khan is showing now a great jab.

This is merely a speculation on when the business side of the sport will dictate this potential fight. Personally, Khan's defeat of Malignaggi didn't do much to prove to me that he can beat the top 140 lb fighters much less an ATG in Mayweather.

Floyd's reach is slightly longer than Khan's reach.

Without one punch KO power, Khan is just another victim.

And Floyd is the master at shutting down a good jab.

Mayweather blows this kid out, he's bigger stronger and just as fast if not faster than Khan. Khan does absolutely nothing better than Mayweather and it would be very similar to last nights fight, except Mayweather would be Khan and Khan would be Malignaggi.

I agree with you from a business perspective. But it would end the kid's career if he faces Floyd in the next three years. After that, you never know.

    Alvarez vs Khan

Alvarez sells to the cholos and Mexicans, and Khan brings in the brits.

    mm

71 to 72, Floyd's like 5'71/2 Khan is like 5'9 and his arms look long.

Wonder if they would 'accidently' make the posters for the fight in Ireland say Irish Saul McGee instead of Saul Alvarez? Probably not, that would be a Bob Arum move

Khan's jab and speed would makes things intriguing in the early stages, at least. And even in a stoppage defeat, I would guess that he would do better than either Mosley or JMM did against Floyd. But I'm digressing. Mayweather - Khan would sell well with the casuals and could conceivably happen in a year's time as a result.

Khan has absolutely, positively no chance of beating Floyd. Floyd would pull counter his jab until he regretted ever learning how to throw the punch. Then Floyd would break him down and rip his heart right out of his chest. Khan would be a broken fighter after Floyd. If Roach and GBP thinks the kid has real staying power and his chin will hold up, they shouldn't even consider making a fight with Floyd for the next three years. Even then, it would be the worst night of the kid's career.
