As for why Bradley doesn't get his belt back, why should they fight each other when HBO won't pony up the money that those two champs deserve. HBO puts more money on the table for Khan (a nobody) to fight Paulie (a bum), than it would for Bradley (140 champ) to fight Maidana or Devon. No one is to blame for the fight not happening other than the promoters and HBO for not getting the money.

Bradley has already established that he is the top dog, those who want his spot have to make a case to fight him, not the other way around.

 

Unless you beat the man or unify all these BS titles, you're not the man, when you got 4 champs at 140 you don't have a champ, there needs to be a super 6 Tournament down at 140, because this **** is all ****ed up. There was is no man at 140, since Mayweather left. Bradley fought all the top guys, was the first in the division to unify two respected titles, before he was unfairly stripped for fighting Nate. His resume at 140 shows that he is the man at 140, he isn't the lineal champ and he isn't the undisputed champ, only because he hasn't beaten the other top guy, Devon, but that fight will start a new lineal legacy, as well as settling the undisputed champion.

 

Baldomir was the man at 147 and Mayweather kicked his ass, Mosley became the man at 147 in PBF's absence and he got handled, making Mayweather the man at 147.

 

Are you trying to claim Manny is the man at 140? If you are I would like you to tell me how you can make that claim, seeing that Hatton was NEVER the man at 140.

 

Hey you said it yourself he needs to take care of Devon. IMO Bradley is the most proven at 140 BUT he still needs to take care of Devon, once he does that, he is the man.

 

Well Zoo was the man at 140 before he lost to Hatton who got his ass kicked by PBF, so you are correct in saying Manny isn't the man, seeing as PBF beat Hatton first although it was at 147.

 

Devon is an upstart compared to his joining the elite ranks, just because Devon joined Tim at the elite class doesn't make Tim any less of the man in the division. I agree I want to see them fight to start a new lineal championship and establish an undisputed champion, but the fight doesn't have to happen for Timmy to be the man.

 

Hatton beating a half retired Zoo, never made him the man, if you look at who he fought at 140 it is an absolute joke, especially when you see that he was KO'd by Juan Lazcano, but saved by the joke ref.

 

This is why boxing is so messed up, there needs to be 1 -belt for 1 champ like in the old days.
