IMO it's more impressive to win every round against another fighter.

Even though knockouts are pretty impressive, there is always the chance of a lucky punch getting through that connects on the button for the KO.

Luck can never realy be a factor when winning every round.

Both are pretty impressive but a 12 round boxing clinic would prove a point while a 1 round explosion would make some people yell "lucky shot".

You mean for example would it be a more impressive win if say Margarito had been able to withstand Mosley's power in the 8th and 9th and made it to the final bell without being knocked out?

Schooling someone for every single round and knocking him out at the end. Like Bhops did to Tito.

I think dominating the fight from start to end and then winning by knockout is the most impressive, regardless of how long it lasts. If you dominate from the first second of the first round and then win by KO in the 3rd or 4th round, that's a massive beatdown.

I concur. There's no question as to who really is the better fighter. If it's a pounding like something a prime Cotto and Chavez used to do, that's even better.

Thats not really an easy question...it still depends on the fight. Who was winning? Was it a competitive fight? Ko in which round? Those factors all contribute to which win is more impressive...

I'm going to go 12 round clinic. It proves something a quick knockout can't.

I like boxing clinics over fast KOs. I get my money's worth.

Who was more impressive? Calzaghe vs Lacy or Pavlik vs Taylor #1 ?

Considering the fact that i think Taylor is a better fighter then Lacy, and the fact that Pav did what he did after coming off the floor to turn the fight around the very next round...

    I go with Pavlik's win(KO).

Agree on all points, Someone can lose every round but have alot of moments, or not take too much punishment like Forbes Vs Oscar, or it could be an embarrassing schooling like Winky Vs Tito. Same with stoppages, there are too many factors to say one is better than the other.

What about whooping someone so bad that the fight is stopped? Like PBF vs. Gatti.
