although katsidis is far from the biggest sports star in australia, he is known as the true blue aussie athlete. no crap, just trains his arse off and gets in the ring to fight for his followers and the crowd and his country.

he's as likeable as anybody u will come across but in the ring he is all warrior and gives 110% every fight.

seemed to be more content that the crowd got their monies worth then whether he won the fight, lol.

I've been a Katsidis fan ever since his fight with Amondsot back in 2007. If Michael stays on track, he is bound to build a hall of fame worthy career.

Id like to think so buster , but by what im reading, not enough as he is being underestimated in a potential khan match up.
i think kats will beat khan if they fight, i think kats will be stronger and more powerfull at 140, imagine that:hey.

    kats by stoppage:deal

I hope Katsidis can do a number on Khan - but at the moment I would give the advantage to Khan. He has been fighting at 140 longer and Katsidis will be the one coming up in weight for the first time. Katsidis is an unknown quantity at junior welterweight. It is possible that he could move up and not take his power with him. It happens to fighters all the time. Julio Cesar Chavez was indestructible at 140 lbs, but once he crossed the line into welterweight - he didn't have the same strength advantage. Arturo Gatti was a strong puncher up to 140 - but at 147 he wasn't the same. I would like to believe that Katisidis will carry his power up to junior welterweight - but until he fights at that weight - there is no way of knowing.

Yes. The guy fights his ass off. I'm impressed with how much he seems to have improved since losing. It's not typical that a fighter(manic) like him can improve his boxing and defense so much mid career.
