Knockout artist Maidana would take Khan to the cleaners. Thats why we wont see them fight. GB will do everything to keep them apart.
Maidana lands unlike feather fisted Paulie, who cant knock ppl out. Not sayin Khan doesnt have skills he does, and plenty of, but he hasnt got the chin.

Judging from Khan's performance on Staurday, his best ever in my opinion, I'd say that as soon as Khan lands something big on Maidana, he wins...

it isn't a great thread title TBH. But i have a feeling Khan's lack of punch resistance may well have been over exagerated. No one is saying Mitchell is chinny, but he was out on his legs against Johanneson, and then stopped by Kats.
I feel most of Khan's knock downs can be attributed to balance issues, more than anything else.
But ffs, the prescott punch would have flattened ANYONE in the light weight division.
How many other boxers with great punch resistance have been knock out or down??
It is just a stick for people to beat Khan with IMO

 

A fighter with Khans skills could have the chin of a 5 year old with cerebal palsy and still beat Maidana.

Have you actually watched any of his fights, he is so limited its embarrassing, lumbering around the ring after his opponent like a mummy on mogadon, he actually managed to make Kotelnik look like a slickster. His chin aint all that either, Khan hasn't been put on his arse by a fighter who makes Willie Limond look like George Foreman....ever heard of a fighter called Omar Leon?, no, me neither.

 

Maidana's chin isn't great either.

 

Khan will box him and pick him apart over the first 4 rounds. In the 5th Khan will destroy him. Khan is godly.

Its early days for most of them. Because Maidana lost to Kotelnik makes most think he would lose to Khan.

There must be a reason why GB matched Khan with Maligg and not Maidana, perhaps Ortiz was the reason. They did try and make out Ortiz was the next big thing,untill he met Maidana. So even GB can get it wrong occasionally.
